After Divorce, Billionaire Ex Found Me Pregnant

Chapter 98 Amnesia.

“Mr. Bryce seems to have suffered from a concussion caused by the explosion, resulting in partial amnesia.” Doctor Bailey explained to Leonica as they now stood outside of Gabriel’s hospital ward.

After hearing the news, she had rushes to the hospital for more detailed explanation and intake. Upon arriving at the hospital and walking in during one of Gabriel’s physical examination, she was shocked that he didn’t make any effort to speak to her. He had only stared at her like some weird statue and after a while, he said.

“I think you’re in the wrong room, Ms.”

Three months ago, Leonica would have killed to hear those exact same words and watch Gabriel stare at her with those exact same unfamiliar yet familiar eyes, but that was three months and now was now, the present and hearing those words, pulled at a string in her heart.

“Gabriel...” she had begun, still finding it hard to believe Doctor Bailey’s words. For some reason, she believed that Gabriel, the Gabriel she knowns, was just too much of a tough nut to allow something like a memory lose happen to him.

That belief however, was shattered the moment the patient in his bed narrowed his eyes, looking suspiciously at her. “Pardon me, but do I, know you?” That question and the way he spoke, very different from his usual aloof and arrogant mannerism, caused the flood gates of reality to burst open on Leonica.

A sense of realization that nearly caused Leonica to snap.

Thankfully Doctor Bailey had stepped in before that, cautiously guiding her out of the room before she could do anything unbefitting to a recovering patient. He then began to explain everything, bringing Leonica to the current time where she stood outside of her ex husband’s hospital ward, staring at him through the glass divider on the door.

“He recalls the basic things, like his name, age and relatives,” Doctor Bailey continued to explain. Leonica looked away, focusing her attention back on him when Gabriel had looked at her through the glass divider.

“But?” She questioned his pause.

Doctor Bailey seemed to hesitate. “he doesn’t seem to recall incidents that have happened in the recent years.”
