Chapter 339: A Bittersweet Farewell
Both of them wore deep scowls, muttering darkly under their breath.
"...So the thief will arrive soon, huh? I still can’t stand the idea of someone trying to steal the Di Malvento family’s greatest treasure."
"If that man so much as puts a single scratch on our treasure, I’ll wipe his entire family line off the face of the earth."
Rocco stiffened a little, hearing their ominous, bloodthirsty muttering.
But, well...
This wasn’t exactly new.
It had become pretty normal lately.
So Rocco decided not to worry and simply kept waiting cheerfully for Laxus’s arrival.
Even if they were saying stuff like that, Rocco was sure they both recognized Laxus deep down.
Otherwise, Laxus probably would have already been utterly crushed by the two of them.
Still... seeing a family member leave the house for good must be lonely.
