Chapter 318: The Dream Meltdown
Rocco was dreaming.
He had been aware of it for some time now—but how long exactly had it been?
It was hard to say.
The dream kept repeating, over and over, so it must have been a while.
He remembered taking a direct hit from a spell and blacking out from the excruciating pain.
The first time he woke up in this dream, he felt relieved—Thank goodness, I’m not dead!—but that sense of relief had long since worn off.
Honestly, he was starting to suspect that maybe he had died after all.
Was this just a dream? Or was it heaven? Or hell?
Even that was starting to blur.
"Ugh... how long is this going to go on..."
He muttered with a sigh, his eyes fixed blankly on the scene playing out before him for what felt like the hundredth time.
