And it was clear that Laxus was furious.
"A chaperone for a date? That’s not funny. Maybe it’s time you stopped clinging to your little brother so much."
"Where is the brother who isn’t worried that his younger brother is about to fall into the clutches of a bastard? I won’t allow anything involving you—marriage, dating, friendships, nothing!" Sylas declared, his voice sharp and intense.
"Eh... that’s a bit too much..." Rocco muttered, feeling a little stiff along with Laxus, who was equally taken aback.
It was a bit much, to be honest.
Perhaps it was a reaction to how overly affectionate Sylas had been during his childhood, but Sylas had ended up becoming a very intense... or rather, an extremely severe brother complex type.
This made things somewhat troublesome.
Whenever Laxus was involved, Sylas would carry an atmosphere like he was confronting an enemy, which made it hard to relax.
