Chapter 81: Unexpected Reunions
Bowing his head too deeply in his flustered state, he lost his balance and tumbled forward, rolling once before landing flat on his face in a perfect kneeling position.
From above, he heard his father and the bespectacled man gasping in quick succession— "Uggh!" and "Kuhah!"—as if they’d just taken a series of blows.
Were they... shocked?
"...Why is he this ridiculously adorable? You—figure out the cause immediately. If this continues, people will swarm to target him like flies to honey," Rocco’s father said, his voice tinged with both exasperation and concern.
"With all due respect, sir," the bespectacled man replied, his tone unusually serious, "this appears to be pure, natural charm. Pinpointing the exact cause may prove impossible."
with his face still face down, Rocco could sense the two of them peering down at him, now whispering conspiratorially.
How mean!
If they were going to hold a secret little insult session, couldn’t they at least do it somewhere he couldn’t hear?
Rocco’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
There was no way he could look up now.
They were probably laughing at him.
