While being carried by Sylas, Rocco darted his eyes around, scanning the surroundings with intense focus to ensure he didn’t miss the familiar white furball he was looking for.
Suddenly, he felt a gaze from above and tilted his head up in surprise.
"D-did something happen, Brother?" Rocco asked nervously.
The one staring at him was Sylas, his beautiful amethyst eyes fixed intently on Rocco.
Those eyes, so difficult to read, revealed nothing, and Rocco involuntarily trembled under their weight.
Seeing Rocco’s reaction, Sylas blinked his eyes slowly and murmured.
"...Why are you trembling? Are you cold?"
This oblivious older brother... Does he not realize the overwhelming aura he exudes?
Anyone would be intimidated by such a piercing gaze, Rocco thought with a conflicted expression flashing across his face.
Sylas, noticing Rocco’s unease, tilted his head in mild confusion, mirroring Rocco’s own gesture.
