Chapter 200: Sneak Into The Fortress
More than six hours later, outside of the bandits’ den.
A Lu Da, A Lu Yu, A Lu Qian, A Lu Zhi, and more than thirty warriors from the Xiuluo tribe hid behind a few big rocks and looked at the tower-shaped fortress from a distance. Just as they were waiting for nightfall, they saw a group of people coming.
After a closer look, it turns out it was another group of bandits who had kidnapped children and women and just returned. Those children and women were kept in iron cages like livestock. Most of them looked disheveled, and were crying in fear.
Seeing that group of people enter the fortress, A Lu Da narrowed his eyes. Before he could give an order, they saw another group of people coming out of the fortress. Judging from their clothes, they were obviously not bandits.
"Those people are from the Shang Empire." A Lu Zhi said calmly.
A Lu Da looked at his fourth younger brother and asked, "How do you know?"
A Lu Zhi pointed to the insignia on the only horse carriage, and said, "Look at the insignia on that carriage. I have seen the same insignia before. They also wore the same clothes as the villagers I had seen before."
A Lu Yu looked at him and asked curiously: "Where did you see that insignia?"
"I went out for a walk last night and saw a group of people rushing past our village. The insignia of the horse carriages was the same as that one. But the people escorting those carriages were not these people." He answered with a frown.
