The two stood silently for a while before Xiao Han noticed Xiao Shao’s gloomy expression. He glanced at his brother and thought for a moment.
"Elder Brother, does the hidden guard have any other reports?" He asked cautiously.
After Xiao Han asked, Xiao Shao didn’t answer him for a long time. Just when Xiao Han thought that the secret guards were just reporting about the Empress Dowager, Xiao Shao suddenly spoke.
"They gave me the results of the investigation about Miss Xu’s background." He answered with an expressionless face.
Xiao Han looked at him and asked, "What did they find?"
Xiao Shao was silent for a moment, and said, "They didn’t find anything. It’s as if she suddenly appeared out of thin air."
Xiao Han was taken aback when he heard what Xiao Shai said. With the ability of the hidden guards, it is almost impossible to hide information from them. But seeing the expression on his elder brother’s face, he decided to shut up. Both of them stood there in silence, busy with their own thoughts.
"You should go back to sleep." Xiao Shao said these words suddenly, and then turned around to leave.
