Belinda rushed in upon hearing the news, pointing at Rosemary angrily and saying, "You’ve got some nerve!"
Earlier, Noreen had been taken to the school infirmary. The nurse said she was perfectly healthy, with not even a minor injury to be seen, but Noreen insisted she had been vomiting blood and had a severe stomach ache.
"Mom, Rosemary must’ve bribed the school nurse. That’s why they’re not telling us the truth! You can’t let Rosemary off. I really did vomit blood, and all my friends saw it!"
