I Was Sent Into A Shitty Urban Novel

Jason picked up the sleek black phone from his desk. The screen lit up and unlocked instantly through facial recognition.

"Initializing gift..."

He raised a brow. "Huh?"

Before he could react further, a message popped up on the screen. He immediately remembered the fat angel’s parting words.

Typical.

A digital window slid open with a new message:

"I decided to leave you a gift. After all, I did throw you into a world based off my novel. This is the Daily Intelligence Software. Every 24 hours, you’ll be presented with random information about someone or something in this world. That’s it. Goodbye. Oh—and you’ll slowly regain the previous Jason’s memories. They’ll come back through sight and sound. Thought dumping them all at once might explode your brain. Alright, later~."

Jason blinked, letting the message sit for a moment.

"So that explains what happened with Daisy..."

That flicker of recognition—he hadn’t imagined it. The old Jason’s memories were trickling in, and clearly, the angel didn’t plan to make it easy.
