Chapter 27: SysDi 27: Evan’s Preparation 4
Evan rolled his eyes at the silence. He really should be used to this.
Although, Iva did mention that it could be busy decoding what the words meant.
The most logical thing to do was to wait for Iva to be able to tell Evan what the words meant. If it would make it safer for him to understand what the words meant, that would be great.
He wanted to make sure he wouldn’t cause any and all possible worry for his parents.
He didn’t want them to think more about him when they are already busy thinking about other things to worry about.
However, Evan also wanted to explore. The only other path he had taken was a dead end, which was only possible because he did take all the left turns from them on.
There really was no other paths to explore than these two.
He tapped his left foot in slight impatience. "How much longer do I have to wait, Iva?"
’Two days if you don’t shush.’ Iva replied with a little huff. ’Maybe thirty to an hour wait if you do shush.’
Evan sighs at the reply he got. That’s a long wait. He could just sit still here but he didn’t really have enough time to wait. "You know what, I’ll take the left one for now and go back later."
He could just go back another way anyway. There was just no way he’s letting this entire stone hill cave, dungeon, or whatever this is go fully unexplored.
