"Simulation Zone." Evan says, before he got around the corner of where he remembered the slimes to be in.

Since he used one out of two of his chances for the Simulation Zone before he was seen, the slimes were frozen in time, some bouncing from the ground or airborne through the corridor as Evan walked to reveal what they were doing. They are a little further away than he realized, which meant that the slimes move really quickly. But even if Evan didn’t see them yet, he knows they were there. His intention didn’t change, so using the Simulation Zone like he did is perfect enough for some side plans.

He has some things he wanted to try before he could actually kill the slimes in front of him without the lack of the passage of time at the moment. Mostly try and see if his detect ability would work against these slimes. There’s no time like the other to try.

"Iva, do you want me to summon you?" Evan asked, pausing. "I don’t think anyone’s going to care much if we’re in the Simulation Zone, right?"

"That’s true. This visual you have is protected within your head anyway." Iva replies. "Why did you use one though? Haven’t you found out the weakness of this particular slime already? Why bother?"

"Because I need to see if I can be more efficient than the first try." Evan says, with a little sigh. "Besides, I need to try to do something. I’ll summon you. You’re free to do whatever within reason while I do my thing." He shrugs. "Summon Pet, Iva."

A small, faint, blue light appears from the ground as a slime appears before Evan. At first glance, it looks the same as the ones in front of him. However, looking closer at Iva the slime, it is shaded a little lighter or paler in comparison to the real thing. Not only that, there is a small star like scar below the slime’s right eye.

"You’re a little bigger than them." Evan says, pointing at the closest original slime.

The slimes around them were a little smaller than Iva. It’s not too obvious until they moved a little closer. But he had been able to get closer to them before, so he was able to tell immediately.

Evan saw how Iva turned and bounced towards the slime he pointed. Iva tries to bounce towards the slime, attempting to hit it, but it bore no fruit. It seems like two slimes are bouncy enough to negate damage between them? Maybe that is also what Iva is trying to find out.

"I don’t know what you want to do, but I’m going to try and see if I can get one down myself." Iva says, its tone weird coming from its current form.
