’..good. You are getting better at this. What changed? You were worse than two days ago..’ Rith said. He sat atop the table while Vacuse sat cross-legged on the ground.
His hand was raised and above it, a dark needle-like energy, as long as a spear, rotated slowly.
The Flicker Lance.
Vacuse narrowed his eyes on the lance. "When I attacked Zorathian, I realized that my will and determination are fueled by my aggression."
Rith huffed. ’..so you grow stronger the more you fight. You use fighting as a motivation? That’s a mindset of someone in survival mode...’
Vacuse didn’t say anything as he studied the lance in his hand. He could feel the void by not feeling it. A strange thing. The Void has no energy, but he could still feel its absence.
It didn’t make much sense to Vacuse, but Rith said it would make more sense the higher up he gets.

Vacuse nodded and with a flicker of his hand, he created another Flicker Lance and another, keeping the three rotating above his head.
It made his eyes ache, watering, with his head pounding with a low heat. Creating three had already expended his mental energy. Although he still had a lot of power left, it left his brain worn.
If his energy was like the waters of the sea, his mental energy was like hands to stir and gather the water of the sea, but right now, the hands were made from straw.
