Chapter 27: Realms
Immediately, the formation beneath them began to glow. Red colors burst upward like shimmering rays and covered them like a dome.
What happened next was familiar and so unfamiliar to Vacuse. He felt a sharp jerk from the formation below and his eyes turned into a whirlwind of darkness.
He felt himself leave his body and his spirit hung up there above his body for a while before he was jerked away again.
The darkness that clouded his vision was wiped away by an intense ray of light that pierced through, and he found himself in another world.
"This is still as unnerving as before," he grumbled to himself as he stared at his hand that was translucent.
He looked up. "The first realm."
The Dragon world could be divided into realms, with the Dragon bloodline occupying the different realms. Although it was said that the realms were just how the humans saw the Pathway world.
’... It’s said that our eyes couldn’t comprehend what we see and so it appears like this...’
’...this is also the reason why I am the only one here even though I should be seeing others as well...’
The first realm was a dry land, rocky and troublesome. Brown mountains pierced the sky and the hills were rolling stones. Everywhere that Vacuse could lay his eyes, he saw Dragonkin beasts.
The beasts that have the Bloodline of the Dragons. Although unlike the Dragons themselves, they are known as inferior. Sometimes a beast like that could awaken with a mysterious long-lost Bloodline of a Dragon.
