Chapter 54: Sirius Software HQ is officially open
"Looks like Father Joseph’s grown a pair," chuckled Aaron, watching the St. Ignatius Academy promotional video in the Temporary Office.
The video showed the security camera footage of the attack on the campus, and promoted it as the schools new commitment to student safety, and a pledge to never let school shootings happen again.
"About damn time," growled Harry.
"There is still a problem. Olga might just get slapped with murder charges. We’ll need to mount a legal defense," said Andre.
"Not happening, Andre. I want any of that bullshit crushed before it even forms," said Aaron.
"Way ahead of you on that one Aaron. I’ve taken the liberty of restoring Olga’s status as FBI special agent. That execution is now a Federally justified use of legal force," said Michael, grinning.
"This is the first that I’m hearing of that," said Olga.
Michael shrugged. "I just managed to pull it through and get it retroactively applied. The official story is now that you’ve been working under deep cover in Sirius Software," he said.
"Under suspicion of what?" asked Olga, raising an eyebrow.
"What you investigated first. Osirak Jihad. You’re the Bureau’s eyes in Sirius Software to make sure they don’t try to infiltrate again," said Michael.
"I suppose that can work. Who is my Bureau handler?" asked Olga.
"You report directly to the counter-terrorism chief," said Michael.
