Chapter 47: Olga rides a horse, and then gets a lesson
Olga let out a low whistle as she entered the security control room.
The room was filled with monitors displaying live feeds from the security cameras in full color and high resolution.
The cameras were positioned so that they had overlapping fields of view, ensuring that there were no blind spots.
"This kind of design isn’t even in police precincts," she said, as she sat down at the control console.
"I may not be an alumnus like Aaron or Harry, but I’ve seen what school shootings look like," said James.
"Well, it certainly gets my seal of approval," said Olga, looking around the room. Her eyes fell on the handle of a riding crop that was sticking out of a backpack.
"What’s this?" she asked, pulling it out.
"That’s mine. I use it when riding horses," said James, blushing slightly.
"Riding horses, huh? I didn’t know you were into that," said Olga, smirking as she examined the riding crop.
"Yeah, I used to ride a lot when I was younger. I still do occasionally," said James, taking the riding crop from her.
"Well, if you ever need a riding partner, I’m game," said Olga, winking at him.
