The Amazing White-Spider

Future Haley grips her fist as claws appear as hard as she could, but no blood or anything leaves her hand as she just goes limp and takes a deep breath over knowing what this monster could very well accomplish.

But at the same time, she also knows it was another form of her brother, and she just couldn't bring herself to hate any part of her brother or even family considering all the years of isolation that came from the symbiote wars of her time.

Future Haley: "Look. I know what you are (points finger underneath Ekaj's chin), and while I'm not willing to hurt you. It's only for the moment, and if need be, I will kill you should you EVER! Pose a threat to my family. GOT IT!"

Ekaj: "(Smiles) I'm just another form of Jake and would never even dream of it."

Jake: "Liar. One of the first things you ever told me was how humans don't care about anyone but themselves and how we're all inherently selfish."

Ekaj just smiles and chuckles over Jake's comments and begins following Jake's little sister from the future as both of them leave the apartment and make their way towards the secret arcade that was apparently future Haley's safe haven.

It was interesting to see just how much she's managed to change in the few days she's been in this time, or maybe someone else somehow found their way inside, which was basically impossible unless Harry or Penny told someone else.

Haley quickly bends down in such a way that causes both Ekaj and Jake to wonder what the heck their sister had been doing in the future, as the way she moved was both inhuman but also something so far from normality that it caused them to worry for her future.

Future Haley: "Okay. So, I want to know three things. (Teleports right in front of Ekaj.) And I swear if I even for a moment think you're lying to me, I will eject you from my brother and stomp on your grave. GOT IT!"

Ekaj: "(Chuckles) Don't worry; I'm fairly certain everything I can say will satisfy whatever your heart desires."

Future Haley wasn't pleased by anything the White-Demon had to say and threw a couple devices that sucked, pierced, and latched onto his wrists, ankles, and throat.

Ekaj: "Well, if you want to get freaky, I'm willing, but I don't think Jake is fine with it, and I don't think either of us really see you that way, sweetheart."

Getting tired of Ekaj's smart mouth Future Haley presses a button on his wrist that causes some holograms to appear and light her entire forearm up as extreme pain of sonic vibrations fills his entire body, causing him to scream out in a way nowhere near human.

Ekaj: "What in the forsaken realms was that!?"

Future Haley: "One of the many ways that we've managed to take down your kind. And since you're not yet your future self, I figured this would hurt you for now."

Ekaj talks calmly but very annoyed: "Well. Let's just say that if you weren't Jake's sister, then not even these things would keep you safe for long."

Future Haley: "Not the first time I've heard that. Especially from you. So, of my three questions, I first want to know what it is you are after?"

Ekaj: "Whatever Jake wants. I'm his darkest thoughts and his deepest desires that even he has no knowledge of, so all I want is for Jake to be who he truly is and nothing more."

Future Haley is a bit shocked, probably because she asked the exact same thing to her Ekaj, or maybe she's even gone off to meet with other versions of her brother, all of whom said something different, but there's just far too little knowledge to truly know.

With a sparkle in her eye, it seems this version of Haley has a bit of hope restored to her, but just as quick as the flash appeared, she snuffs it out and continues with her little interrogation with her brother from another dimension.

Future Haley: "Second question. Have you at any point thought it'd be better for you to be in control rather than Jake?"

Jake: "Yes, he has the egotistical jerk."

Ekaj: "(Smirks) No. I hate the idea of being in complete control, as it's far too annoying constantly having to deal with being a real being rather than being able to make wise cracks to everyone and annoy Jake, who's like a brother."

Jake: "Man, I never thought you cared that much."

Ekaj: "I mean, I do, but I just hate the idea of having to do everything myself rather than watching you fail, as that's better and funnier to me."

Jake: "Way to kill the mood."

Ekaj: "Tank you, I really try."

Future Haley is shocked by hearing the conversation possibly going on between her brother and the White-Demon and is just amazed about everything, as in her time the White-Demon has killed or completely sealed off anything to do with her brother.

Even worse was how he made sure to do everything that would just keep him prisoner inside his own mind, or maybe he just liked the feeling of one-upping Jake by taking all the women he wanted and corrupting them, killing his parents, and many other things that just bring a tear to her eye upon remembering and seeing just how different Ekaj is from the White-Demon.

Future Haley, with a quivering lip and tears in her eyes, tries her best to be as calm and intimidating as she possibly can as her arm shakes as she tries to keep it straight at her brother and Ekaj, the possible White-Demon.

Future Haley: "F-final question... if... if you were to do anything, what would it be?"

While she spoke, it was clear from the sound in her voice and how her lip quivered it seemed she was just begging to herself that whatever Ekaj said next was something unexpected, something that could possibly be different from what the dark future version of himself had said.

Ekaj: "Laze around and make fun of Jake with him being surrounded by a massive family, as that's the thing he truly wants in life."

Future Haley doesn't say anything and just presses a button as all the locks disengage and remove themselves from Jake's body as Jake takes back control of his body and helps his sister, who almost fell and seemed to have a fever.

While she looked at her brother, she stroked his cheek and pulled him in for a hug as she whispered something that Jake couldn't hear, as the only thing going through his ears was the heartbeat of his sister flatlining.

The last thing Haley sees is her innocent enough brother, and even though the answer Ekaj gave was the same as the White-Demon she didn't really care anymore, as it was in a much kinder way than his future self, who did so with bitterness and spite.

Jake: "This is the one damn thing I didn't want to ever see in a million lifetimes and even more years!"

Ekaj: "Yes, yes, I know you wish to die long before Haley ever got married, as you don't feel you're worthy enough to be an uncle for some reason."

Jake: "(Tears in his eyes) What... what do I do now?"

Ekaj: "Give her the best burial and funeral you can without anyone knowing since your sister's still alive and probably smack-talking you to all her friends like all sisters do with their brothers, and hope she's finally at peace."

Jake does so and gives her the best send-off he could ever give with her being from the future along with being an awkward thing to bring up to other people.

Strange arrives like the magical wizard he strives to be and pats Jake's back as softly as he possibly could and passes him a bottle of something strong, dark, and painful.

Strange: "It's your favorite for situations like this, and trust me, it's better for everyone and everything in this world if you just cry and scream your heart out as your sister's body goes off to whatever Thor and his people manage to do since he's a Viking god and all that."

Jake: "Do... does this happen to me a lot?"

Strange: "You? HA! (Laughs as hard as he possibly could, like he was just told the best joke in the world) Oh, no, you are the worst person in the world when it comes to this thing, as you create far more situations like this for others. But no, you being on this end is one of the rarest things in life."

Jake: "Then why do I have a favorite drink?"

Strange: "Someone in your little group is marked with death farther than anything could even touch no matter how hard they may try and help. And through them you've learned to drink your heart out on times like this along with just fighting it out whenever a good scotch isn't available or needed."

Without saying another word, Strange taps Jake's shoulder twice and leaves just as suddenly as he appeared, leaving Jake with a bottle of Logan Scotch. "The only thing tough enough to make me drunk as a skunk."

Ekaj: "I thought he liked beer, and because of his regeneration, being drunk is impossible."

Jake: "How do you know that?"

Ekaj: "I don't sleep when you do. And I've heard him curse and complain about his regeneration making it impossible to get drunk or high."

Popping the top for the first time in his life, Jake drinks, and boy does he hate it, as it burns his throat all the way down, but that's exactly what he's after, as he wants to feel as terrible as he possibly could forever, daring to have anything bad happen to Haley or anyone he cares about.

Jake: "(Throws the empty bottle straight at a mugger three blocks away and knocks him clean out.) When I find that fake Spider-Woman, I'm going to have many questions for her."

Ekaj: "Like if you could meet your future self. Look, you can't lie to someone who knows how you think and even knows the darkest things you don't know you think about. But if this White-demon version of me is anything like me and what Haley made it seem like, I made the world she came from a literal hell."

Suddenly a dark-skinned woman appears wearing a Spider-Woman hoodie but black, some tight black jeans, and a black tank top with some red sneakers.

???: "So this is where you've been."

Jake: "Uh... can I help you?"

???: "My name is Mia, Mia Morales, and you killed EVERYONE! (Throws off her jacket as electricity crackles around her hands.) Now prepare to die!"
