The Amazing White-Spider

As the Hydra agent threw Jake out of the secret base, it didn't even take a second before the Hydra and yellow hazmat-wearing lackeys began rushing around the place, almost breaking whatever they were trying to move in the process.

Ekaj: "You think about tempting fate now, boy?"

Jake: "(Lets out a heavy sigh) I wish, but I already know that I'm nowhere near strong enough to even attempt facing off against them."

Ekaj: "But one day we'll get our revenge!"

Jake: "Yes, someday."

Jake walks away with a hop and a skip in his step as he does and begins making his way through the streets of the city and soon comes across Harry Osborn? Like, what the heck is he doing here in the middle of nowhere near the many shelters that were made for them?

As Jake approached his friend, he realized almost too soon that he was still wearing his symbiote Spider-Woman-inspired outfit and immediately put it away as best he could, and just as he reached his friend, he could tell something was off.

But not with Harry, no. The thing that seemed off was Jake, judging from the look in Harry's eyes, almost as if he thought he had seen something he probably shouldn't have and began slowly approaching his friend with clear hesitation.

Harry: "H-hey?... Jake? Is everything, uh... normal with you?"

Ekaj: "Okay, this man is terrible at hiding anything, as if his eyes didn't give it away, his speech is clearly full of questions, hesitations, and wonder about something maybe even involving you."

As Jake was having an argument with himself over many stupid things that mostly revolved around Harry and Jake's friendship, Harry was freaking out over the fact he could have sworn he just saw one of his best friends have something slithering around his leg that didn't look normal.

Not only that, he could have sworn he saw some sort of spider-looking thing on his chest and the colors black and white, which he had more than enough encounters with the black symbiote beasts that had forced him out of the safe house he was staying in.

The worst thing had to be the fact he could have sworn he heard what sounded like his father inside the symbiote whispering to him, along with how he felt like his own sanity seemed to be breaking if he was now seeing things that might have him lash out!

Harry: "Um... are you there?"

Harry asked with full hesitation in his voice as he rubbed his arm as awkwardly as Penny would whenever she was forced to dress up as a girl basically for her entire life, as she just didn't seem to like wearing anything considered typically girly, as she'd pretend to be sick whenever she was forced to wear it by Aunt May or... Harry's mother...

Anyway, Jake saw this and knew that he would have to be careful with his words or possibly risk destroying his friendship with Harry, or even worse, accidentally kill him...

Jake: "Yeah, I'm fine just dealing with this crazy world we live in."

Harry: "Yeah... yeah...."

Jake: "(Suddenly grabs Harry by the shoulders) Hey, why don't we get something to eat? I mean, we could literally go anywhere since I don't think they'd care that much if it means surviving?"

Harry: "(Laughs very hard for a solid minute) You must be new to New York then, as even I've never had anything THAT nice happen to me, and I'm the son of one of the most popular men in the city along with the future possible mayor."

Jake just smiles when he sees how happy his friend looked as they headed towards the nearest diner, which was... a certain club of sorts that had more X's than a cartoon bottle of liquor... nice wings though.

While they sat down in the light-up booth, Harry wondered just why there seemed to be so many entrances and exits to the back room of this place but was very pleased when he noticed the wonderful costumes that were available.

Coming out of the room, Jake decided to put on a white Phantom of the Opera-style mask with a... shall we say, exposed-looking duplicated outfit of Spiderwoman that had enough cuts that if not for certain areas could be considered summer wear for the super girl.

Harry, on the other hand, came out wearing high-heeled purple boots, green and purple swim trunks, and a hoodie without any sleeves in complete purple with a tiny elf hat on his head.

Harry and Jake: "Why did you choose that?"

Jake and Harry: "Thought it looked fun and interesting?"

The two idiots just begin laughing before they strip out of their stupid clothes and put on their normal attire as Ekaj just wonders just what the heck compelled them to dress up in random strangers clothes.

After raiding the kitchen once more for whatever they thought looked good and interesting enough to eat, which of course meant they took everything from the fridge that was made for ready to order and started eating everything they wanted.

Which kind of freaked Harry out a bit since most, if not all, the food they took. Which, considering the fact it was big enough, they could literally create tables from just their dirty dishes alone.

Once they finally finished eating and telling each other stories about both their past and heavily embellished tellings of the things they had gone through since this outbreak started and they were all forced apart from everyone they possibly knew if you were unlucky enough to not make it to the shelters.

Harry begins it all with him trying to say how frustrating it was when he was still inside his safe house and how almost nothing inside seemed to work properly or how the food, water, drugs, or whatever he needed were all from companies or flavors he didn't really like.

Meanwhile Jake tried his best to dumb down but at the same time exaggerate everything he was saying, as he felt like that'd make Harry the happiest, but also knew that if he outright said he didn't do anything special, then Harry would automatically know he was lying.

From the looks on Harry's face, however, Jake could tell that he was either mortified over what his friend had to do in order to survive or he was jealous over the vast adventures he seemed to have gone on while he was just stuck living life.

They both kind of found it funny and very ironic how the man who dreamed of adventure was stuck inside waiting for everything to finally blow over and live the life his father wanted for him, while Jake, on the other hand, was fine with never really leaving home or going that far from it.

Yet, here he is, about God only knows how far from where his apartment was even located and having the time of his life relaxing with Harry at a place that'd probably get them killed by their respective parental friend.

Jake: "Man, if Penny or even MJ were to ever find us here—"

Harry: "(Shivers) Dude, don't even give me that image!"

With the elephant now basically stomping and swinging around the place, the two decide to quickly leave and somehow meet with Penny, who was wearing what honestly looked like her sleepwear, aka a black tank top and some light blue shorts.

Penny: "(As she crosses her arms, she lightly taps her elbows) Now... why... are... you... two... HERE!?"

Jake and Harry gulped like cartoon characters before Harry stepped forward with more than enough courage to inspire Jake to step forward himself.

Harry: "(At the same time as Jake) What's the deal with your clothes and no shoes?"

Jake: "(At the same time as Harry) What are you doing here?"

The two looked at each other just dumbfounded by the other's question like it was the most obvious thing in the world, which in turn seemed to piss Penny off even more as the two could actually see her veins pulsing from how mad she seemed to be.

Before either of them could even dare to speak up once more, Penny began dragging the two by the collars of their shirts, and out of all times, why is it that the one time Jake wanted to get attacked, there didn't seem to be a monster in sight?

However, things got a little better for Jake and Harry as a giant red symbiote monster appeared by crashing through at least two buildings and a single car, and after one final giant tumble, one of the masses of red gets shot into a parked cargo hold while the other seems to groan in agony.

But the second it spotted all three of them, it grabbed them all up with its claw-like hands and tentacles and began hopping and climbing straight towards the top of a flat enough apartment, where it pinned all three into different objects.

???: "(Laughs manically) Man, if you were to tell me that one day I'd get to kill the son of the great Norma Osborn, the hippy chick who almost cost me everything because I killed her precious sugar daddy, and you!"

The monstrous red creature slams Jake into the ground and wall and then throws him through the windows of the place he was standing over and keeps doing so until they are all broken to smithereens.

As that was going on, the beastly figure just laughed as both Harry and Penny began shouting something, but given the blood loss, cracked or even shattered bones, and anything else that might have been going on inside his body, it kind of made it hard to concentrate on what they were saying.

Eventually something had to give, and that seemed to be his spider-like arms; as before, he could get thrown through another building and its windows, the spider arms staked themselves in the walls, greatly annoying the monster in the process.

Jake: "(Voice slowly distorts along with his eyes being closed and completely bruised and bleeding from everywhere.) Don't worry, partner, I'll take this one."

Both Harry and Penny wonder just what the heck that had meant until Jake, or rather Ekaj, or even more rather the criminal anti-hero, or whatever it might have been that was copying Spider-Woman's look, appeared.

White-Spider: "Hello, tough guy!"

Ekaj grabs the red symbiote's tentacles and pulls him towards himself with as much force as he can, causing light glimpses of purple and green electric energy to flow from his arms as the red symbiote stabs every part of White-Spider.

Red Symbiote Monster: "LETS SEE HOW YOU DEAL WITH THISSS!!!"

Ekaj grunts in pain from the sudden and intense stabbing he was feeling all across his body but made sure to keep himself from showing it as best he could as both Harry and Penny looked at the man they thought of as their friend in horror but at the same time began reaching towards him as he did the same.
