Chapter 201: The Mystical Sect’s Transportation System
The sect leaders were overflowing with enthusiasm about the opening of the Mystical Sect Academy. Other than the course arrangements and the organization of teaching materials that required Yun Jiao’s personal attention, everything else—from the construction of the school to the recruitment and scheduling of personnel—was completely managed by the Celestial Masters Hall.
Especially the top fifty sect leaders from the recent Teacher Qualification Examination—they had all gathered early at the Celestial Masters Hall, making various preparations.
Everything was ready, waiting only for the start of the semester!
Just as everyone was rubbing their hands, eager to produce dozens of test papers in advance, they suddenly realized a very serious problem.
“Exorcism and cultivation can’t be done at the same time?” Yun Jiao was stunned and looked at the sect leaders whose faces were all marked with despair. “Why?”
“Daoist Friend Yun, you may not know,” sighed Master Xu. “Though we have many disciples of the Mystical Sect, they are scattered all over the land, so the actual number in each region isn’t large. Some sects even have to manage several large towns at once. Thus, disciples on the upper register receive assignments almost every month, while those of higher cultivation—the Blossoming Celestial Masters—must go out every ten days or so. Among the thousands of disciples we planned to send for cultivation this time, most are Blossoming Celestial Masters. If all of them leave at once, many missions will have no one to carry them out.”
“That’s right,” another sect leader said solemnly. “Though the underworld and the demon realm have been quiet lately, and the Celestial Masters Hall and the various sects have received fewer commissions, if so many disciples go to the Celestial Masters Hall for study, we’ll indeed be short on manpower.”
“Then just set up holidays,” Yun Jiao suggested. “Didn’t we already discuss having two semesters per year and two rest days every seven days? We can stagger each class’s schedule so that only two or three classes attend lessons at a time.”
Master Xu still looked uneasy and sighed again. “That would be fine, but the Celestial Masters Hall’s commissions are usually assigned to nearby sects, which then send suitable disciples. If all disciples are now gathered here, and the commission site is far away, they might not make it in time.”
