Chapter 73: A Mother’s Love?
They say: Mother’s are full of grace, mother’s are bright...
Mother’s are kind, mother’s are forgiving, mother’s are warm, and mother’s are peaceful safe havens.
It is often said that a person can willingly commit murder, slaughter entire cities, and even turn cannibalistic down the line. But the one constant thing they will have is their mother’s love. For a mother will never see their child as a monster, and perhaps... will hide their child’s unique quirks from the world and all incriminating evidence too.
Well... that’s what some dull-witted and shameless bastards would think, was the definition of what a Mother was. And maybe in the past, Bimto would have also thought the same... BUT NOT ANY MORE.
Hah! Bimto inwardly sneered when seeing their reactions. "Look here, I told you guys that I’m a busy person alright? So if you’re looking for jobs, please go to the next door and look for vacancies!"
Bimto still acted as though she didn’t recognize Merta. "And you there... you who looks like she’s about to cry. I’ve known quite a few professional Mourners in my day, but never those as shameless as any of you!"
What’s a Professional Mourner? Of course it’s someone paid to appear at funerals and cry their eyes out for the deceased, in cases where the deceased was either hated or doesn’t have family.
Such people have been around for ages.
When burying her mother, Bimto used such services, as she and her mother were very hated by the community at that time. It was funny that during a funeral where she thought no one would show, everyone in the village appeared.
In their words, no matter how hated a person was over, they should still be respected and missed when dead.
Bimto will never forget that day when the villagers she had done evil to, all out money together to take care of her feeding and her wellbeing.
