For them, what made Gort’s flood story a little believable was him.... A genius like none other, who has clearly invented great things. Had it been another person saying this, perhaps a drunk on the streets or even a student with no inventions, they would brush it off without haste.
Sorry, but credibility mattered. The little time they spent with Gort, they knew he never did anything without thinking 5... no, 10 steps ahead.
"4 months, 6 days..." Akin murmured, reminding himself of the deadline before the floods fully rolls in.
