Chapter 40: Shareholder Meeting
These days, everyone has just one thing in mind, the Shareholder Dividend Meeting.
Whether it suddenly chooses to rain cats or dogs, gets flooded or even there being a threat of a tornado heading their way, many swore they’d still show their face there.
It was amazing that in just a few days, the village has become flooded with people of all walks of life permanently moving in. Some chose to visit, confused by what all the fuss was about.
Families returned, and the atmosphere was nothing like the desolate cumbersome one of the past.
"Boy, wash your face again. Don’t you know that you must look your best for the S.H.D Meeting and Party?"
Because it was too tiring to call it a Shareholder Dividend Meeting, they summed it up as—the SHDmeeting.
The peculiarly lovely state of Geldhan village woke an answering joy to the masses. Even the visitors and those permanently moving smiled as if they too would be receiving money today.
Ah yes... the Prairies were alive today, with their green blades blinding and dancing in the wind’s direction.
It was hot. Some would even say scorching hot. Yet, no one cared. The little wind did nothing to stop their sweating. The place was set up quite nicely. The newly constructed building on the Prairie hill, could now take in more people than expected.
Staring at the flowers, decorations and banners in and out of the building, many felt their eyes turn moist. This was their hard work.
