Chapter 38: Happiness Comes Too Soon
Gort left Larkh’s home with a grin.
’They said they will be moving in 3 days from now, and bringing in several students and people under them too.’
Gort could definitely trust Larkh and the others. They were the few people who fought back to stay in the country even when they were hailed as geniuses. Bribing them would be incredulously hard. What’s more, Larkh said he would call his few military friends to also join the meeting he already had with other military personnel.
It seems that for now, the village’s safety must be a priority.
The safety of the villagers as well as his parents must be secured. Of course, the military was one thing and relying on his technology was another. With the money acquired, he already oriented various resources to building himself a few defensive items.

Leaving Larkh’s house, a majority of Gort’s happiness was because to Thulu.
One would have to be blind crippled or crazy not to see how different he treated her from the rest. He has known her for over 6 years now, and he is fairly certain what he felt for her. It’s just that the little girl was still innocent, completely clueless of his intentions. Well, there was no rush.
