Chapter 32: Onlookers In The Shadows...
After the scrumptious meal they had, accompanied by the subtle changes they felt within them, no one could wear a smile on their face.
If a pin dropped now, everyone would be able to hear it. Their faces were stretched into morbidly hideous versions of themselves the more they stared at their empty dishes.
If someone should even let out a fart now, they would definitely gang up on the person and beat him blindly to a pulp.
"What the hell are you guys doing?"
The voice belonged to their Leader, a burly man with a round face.
As if they were in a classroom afraid to be called out by their teacher, several people lowered their heads twisting and turning in avoidance.
"Well, is anyone going to answer me? Who can tell me why such good things aren't coming from our Renowned Agricultural Association?"
(Silence)
"Are you saying, our title is just for shows?"
