Chapter 27: The Confident Villagers
The trucks were here for Shipment, and the village was still assisting in loading. Looking at the trucks, many still couldn't believe it was truly happening.
Are they blind? Or are their brains truly registering what their eyes were seeing? The sight of countless vehicles driving in and out aroused a steadfast joy within them.
Everyone was thrilled... except for those who now regret it so much their eyes were turning a frightening shade of red.
The more cargo that was packed in and the more trucks driven out, the greater the pain they felt in their hearts.
Just in these past days, do you know how many times they have twisted and turned in their beds, waking up from nightmares about them swimming in money, all for it to suddenly disappear?

Some of them had awakened at night, sweating and screaming so loudly they woke up their neighbors too. They regret it so much!
Their regret was causing their bodies to subconsciously use their mouths in breathing, rather than their nostrils. So now, when standing outside the company gates and listening to the excitement of their fellow villagers, they all wished they could slap their former selves to death.
