Chapter 16: The Future Is Now
It was so good that many felt like crying. Leaning into their seats, some burped embarrassingly and sighed with relish.
The atmosphere among them was no longer tense, but very warm and chummy, as though they were old friends who have known each other for decades. Of course, if you forget the scene of them cursing and fighting each other, it would look like they have been long-time friends.
As agricultural buyers, they have eaten a lot of fruits and foods of various variations, but none tasted as excellent as the ones eaten today. They even feared that after leaving, they might not have the appetite to eat ordinary dishes anymore.
"Sure enough, money is meant to be spent on good food."
"Have you ever eaten anything so extraordinary?... And is it just me, or did you all feel less fatigued after the meal?"
Several people paused momentarily, before vigorously bobbing their heads like chickens. Hendo, Old Axe, and Frosch, who were assisting in clearing the dishes, almost dropped the items in their hands when hearing this.
Could it be?... Could it really be true that these dishes have medical capabilities as promised?
As farmers, they admitted that the artificially grown foods had a super growth rate. Though they felt these buyers were eating exaggeratingly, they can also accept that perhaps it tastes better than the normal ones.
However, what they still felt was impossible, was for there to be any immediate medical results after a single meal. Even Comrade Park was amazed to feel the changes in his body too. And what about the taste?
