William raised his hand and gently stroked her cheek with his fingertips.
"Are you sure... about what you’re saying, Won’t you regret it later?"
Lia nodded slowly. Her lips trembled, full of anticipation.
"I don’t want this to be out of obligation" he added.
"It’s not... this is what I want."
"I hope you never regret it because you will never be able to escape from me in this life."
Their lips met in a slow, soft kiss, dripping with longing. Lia clung to him sweetly as their bodies drew closer, feeling the heat radiating from their skin and the subtle, intoxicating scent she gave off.
The kiss was brief but tender. William stared deep into Lia’s eyes as they pulled apart slightly, a thin thread of saliva connecting them in that suspended moment.
"That day was crazy—I didn’t get to enjoy you enough. I’ve longed every day to have you again, but I didn’t want to interrupt your dreams."
"My dreams were only about being with you every second. You saved my life twice, and I don’t know how to repay you. I was terrified of being expelled from the academy or handed over to someone else. The mages told us if we failed the test, arriving at our destination would be horrible."
"They only said that to scare you into sleeping with them. I swear, I’ll tear their heads off sooner or later."
