Chapter 68: Again, Soul Formation With Fake Dao
The two Nascent Soul realm cultivators worked together to defeat Li Shen. Li Shen told Bai Zhang to take cover while staying close to him.
One of the cultivators began to form hand seals, bringing forth a large magical portal and directing a powerful fiery spear downward to destroy Li Shen’s defenses.
Another cultivator joined in, forming hand seals and summoning a black dragon that breathed hot black flames forward. Li Shen sensed it; both techniques were fifth-level techniques.
Even so, Li Shen did not feel overwhelmed by their attack. Their attack was indeed stronger than Mo Ni’s, but it was not enough to threaten Li Shen’s life.
"Such power will never defeat me!" Li Shen said firmly.
He thrust his hand forward and clenched his palm tightly. An explosion happened as a result of the two cultivators’ failed attack. They looked injured, coughing up blood and being pushed back.
"You’re only at the Mid-Stage Nascent Soul, but how could you withstand our technique?" asked one of them.
"He must possess a soul formation-level treasure. We can’t underestimate him!" said the cultivator beside him, and the man next to him nodded in agreement.
To defeat the mysterious Li Shen, they would need to use their family and sect treasures, which were equivalent to sixth-level cultivation techniques.
That way, they were confident that they could defeat Li Shen with their abilities.
