"Sect Master," Gu Mei called out, not yet resting.
"Aren't you resting, Elder Gu?" asked Li Shen, without turning around.
"I've been thinking about what happened earlier today. I've learned one of the five high-level techniques of the Core Formation stage. I'm saying this based on my own experience," replied Gu Mei.
"Those five techniques are said to be high-level techniques in the Core Formation stage because they risk the foundation of a practitioner's cultivation and dantian," replied Li Shen.
He turned and looked at Gu Mei, who gasped when she saw Li Shen's eyes shining blue, like the reflection of the moonlight at night. Seeing this, Gu Mei bowed her head immediately, unwilling to continue looking at Li Shen due to her awe and fear.
