"I’ve been in the Rebirth Realm for ages, and I still haven’t killed an expert of the same level. But you just killed a Rebirth Realm master right in front of me!" Fanyun Demon Monarch exclaimed in shock.

Spatial Demon Fiend Skills were rare, even among those in the Rebirth Realm.

It was the first time in his life he had ever witnessed a Rebirth Realm expert die right before his eyes.

Xuansha leaped to the edge of the deep crater, rolling his neck. "He’s probably not dead," he said. "I just banished him to an Alternate Space."

"An Alternate Space? What is that? Can he come back?"

"Probably not," Xuansha replied after a moment’s thought.

"Then that’s no different from being dead! Incredible, Xuansha!" Fanyun Demon Monarch’s face filled with admiration. ’I must never get on his bad side,’ he thought.

’Otherwise, if I oversleep one day and he banishes me to an Alternate Space in a moment of carelessness, I’ll be done for.’

"Alright, go open the city gates. It’s time to clean up this mess. Get everything sorted out quickly and report to the Saint Master," Xuansha said as he slowly walked toward the Uncertainty Sect’s headquarters.

"You got it!" Fanyun Demon Monarch chirped, then darted away.

This time, the plan concocted by Xuansha and Fanyun had been a resounding success.

First, Xuansha and Fanyun had engaged in a standoff with the Uncertainty Sect outside the city for several days.

They took turns battling Mo Tai each day. This served two purposes: first, to see if they could convince the Uncertainty Sect to surrender, and second, to make Mo Tai and his sect lower their guard.

After several days of confrontation, Mo Tai was severely drained, but the Uncertainty Sect’s Sect Leader remained defiant and refused to surrender.

Naturally, Xuansha and Fanyun couldn’t wait any longer. They seized an opportunity to sneak into the city at night and assassinate Mo Tai and the Uncertainty Sect Leader.

If Mo Tai had fled the moment Zhuu Qingyun was killed, Xuansha and Fanyun might not have been able to stop him. He would have had a decent chance of escaping.

This would have left a grave threat looming over the Saint Demon Sect’s future territory.

But perhaps Mo Tai was truly devoted to his Disciple, or perhaps he was overconfident in his Demon Fiend Skill. In any case, before he knew what was happening, Xuansha had sent him to the Alternate Space.

With Mo Tai gone, there was nothing left in the Uncertainty Sect for Xuansha to worry about.

Xuansha reverted to his normal state. Bare-chested, he gathered his energy in his Dantian and his voice boomed: "I am of the Dark Buddha Demon Sect, under the command of the Saint Demon Sect! Your Sect Leader, Zhuu Qingyun, and your Supreme Elder, Mo Tai, have been slain! Surrender now, and your lives will be spared!"

At these words, the Uncertainty Sect Disciples inside the headquarters, who had already been drawn by the battle between two Rebirth Realm experts, grew pale with shock.

After a moment of hesitation, most of the Uncertainty Sect Disciples lowered their weapons.

Some turned and fled immediately.

And a few, failing to grasp the situation, continued to shout curses.

If a Tendon Transformation Realm expert managed a narrow escape from the projectile, Xuansha would simply glide forward and crush their skull with a single punch—an even more gruesome death.

Thus, after no more than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, silence fell over the Uncertainty Sect’s headquarters.

All the troublemakers within the Uncertainty Sect had been cleanly eliminated by Xuansha.

Fanyun Demon Monarch arrived with the bulk of his forces, led by Purple Zombie and Purple Dragon, and took complete control of the Uncertainty Sect’s headquarters.

The moment Fengg City was secured, Xuansha sent a messenger to Goose City to deliver a report to Lu Changfeng.

At the time, Xuansha didn’t yet know that Lu Changfeng had already conquered Rong City, completing his own mission ahead of schedule.

Over the next three days, Xuansha consolidated the various powers, large and small, within Fengg City.

To ensure stability, most of the Uncertainty Sect’s Bone Refining Realm experts were conscripted into the Heavenly Corpse Demon Sect’s army to march on Rong City with Xuansha.

Meanwhile, the majority of the Heavenly Corpse Demon Sect’s Disciples remained in Fengg City with Purple Zombie to continue stabilizing the situation.

With these arrangements in place, Xuansha and Fanyun set out for Rong City on the morning of the fourth day.

They were determined to clear the way for their Saint Master as quickly as possible.

Inside the carriage, Fanyun Demon Monarch spoke slowly as he leafed through intelligence they had found in Fengg City.

"It’s the last city," Xuansha said, his tone firm. "It’s the key to opening the Saint Master’s path to Jiangnan Prefecture. Even if it’s a hard fight, we have to take it."

Fanyun Demon Monarch closed the booklet and nodded slightly. The two Rebirth Realm experts then closed their eyes to rest inside the carriage.

In this state, by retracting their Spirit Bodies, they could conserve some of their Spiritual Power from the thin Heaven and Earth Primordial Energy.

The army advanced at full speed.

In the afternoon, Rong City came into view.

From a great distance, Purple Dragon spotted the figures of Rong City’s scouts.

However, the scouts were too far away to be captured.

And so, the army slowly advanced to the foot of Rong City’s walls.

As soon as they arrived, Purple Dragon sensed that the atmosphere was off.

The gates of Rong City were wide open, and the walls were lined with the purple Blood Blade Banners of the Saint Demon Sect.

For a moment, Purple Dragon couldn’t tell if it was a trap. He scurried into the carriage to wake the two Rebirth Realm experts, Xuansha and Fanyun.

The two awoke from their rest, stepped out, and were also slightly taken aback.

"Did the Rong City County Magistrate surrender without a fight? This is different from what our intelligence said," Fanyun Demon Monarch mused, rubbing his chin.

Just then, a figure flew out from within Rong City.

Xuansha and Fanyun looked up and saw that it was that old fellow, Bai Touweng!

"Haha, the Saint Master has been waiting for you! You two, lead your men into the city at once!" Bai Touweng called out.

Xuansha looked confused. "What’s going on? Why is the Saint Master in Rong City?"

"The Saint Master and I arrived in Rong City ahead of you. With the strength of just the two of us, we took the city," Bai Touweng said, looking rather pleased with himself.

Fanyun Demon Monarch’s jaw dropped, but then he breathed a sigh of relief. ’Another battle avoided,’ he thought.

Hearing this, Xuansha nodded slightly. This was indeed the Saint Master’s style. He then turned and quietly ordered Purple Dragon’s subordinates to remain on high alert after entering the city.

’The city’s forces might not have genuinely submitted to Lu Changfeng,’ Xuansha thought. ’We’ll have to replace them with our own people to secure control.’

Seeing this, Bai Touweng simply smiled without saying a word.

Led by Bai Touweng, Xuansha and Fanyun led the Martial Arts Army into the city.

As soon as they entered, a series of bangs echoed through the air. Someone was setting off fireworks.

They looked out and saw the streets lined with local residents.

The people were cheering enthusiastically, welcoming the arrival of the Heavenly Corpse Demon Sect’s Disciples.

Before long, the three of them arrived together in the main hall of the Lin Mansion, where they saw Lu Changfeng seated at the head of the room.

A middle-aged man and an old man stood beside Lu Changfeng.

Lu Changfeng then turned to the men behind him. "This is Lin Xiong, a new member of the Ten Great Demon Generals. You should all get acquainted."

Then, Lu Changfeng singled out Lin Erfeng. "Haha, and this is the only Bone Refining Realm Demon General I have newly appointed, Lin Erfeng. In the future, all cities under the Holy Sect will be placed under his unified governance."

Lu Changfeng was truly satisfied.
