Tyler stood in front of Sandra, the woman in charge of managing personnel within the camp. Her sharp eyes scanned him as she leaned back in her chair.
"You want to join the Abyss Exploration Group?" Sandra asked, raising an eyebrow.
Tyler nodded.
"Well, you already finished a big mission recently. Are you sure you wanna go inside the Abyss?" she questioned.
"I’m not affected by the Abyss’ corruption or anything," Tyler replied. "I don’t have a death wish either, if that’s what you’re worried about."
Sandra remained silent, waiting for him to continue. Some people might get affected by Abyss and wanted to dive in. But it seems like Tyler is not affected by anything like that.
"My friends went missing inside the Abyss," Tyler explained, his voice firm. "I have to search for them."
Sandra sighed. "Oh... I see."
"So, can I get permission to enter?" Tyler asked.
"No."
