The Rich Cultivator

Chapter 63. Tyler’s Serendipity: Explained

In the boundless expanse of the universe, within a cluster of twinkling stars, there existed a galaxy where planets and moons were meticulously arranged like chess pieces on an enormous chessboard. This galaxy was the domain of an immensely powerful and enigmatic figure.

At the heart of this galaxy resided a colossal Neutron Star. It radiated an intense and brilliant light, yet curiously, the nearby planet orbiting it appeared unaffected by its fiery presence.

This planet was a marvel of natural diversity, experiencing all four seasons in their full splendour. It boasted every kind of weather imaginable, from gentle spring rains to harsh winter storms. Four magnificent heavenly gates stood guard over this planet, each leading to vast, hollow spaces of unimaginable scale. These gates towered to incomprehensible heights, reaching far beyond the ordinary limits of vision. Beyond the southern gate lay a radiant realm, a bright world adorned with clouds in every hue of the rainbow, a sight of surreal beauty.

Amidst this celestial wonder, a grey-haired elderly man sat before an enormous chessboard, its surface gleaming under the starlight. He was deeply engrossed in a game of chess, a game he played against himself. His fingers deftly manipulated the black and white pieces, moving them with deliberate precision. The piece he held between his fingertips seemed to shift in colour, sometimes appearing dark, sometimes white, and occasionally displaying a curious blend of both. The transformation of the chess piece was subtle yet constant, symbolizing the intricate balance and perpetual flux of a certain person.

He looked at the chess piece and said, "Great Fortune comes with Misfortune. As long as you walk past the Misfortune, only fortune awaits you."

"I already did everything I can. From now on I won’t help you until you form Nascent Soul Realm. " The elderly man said. Behind him stood seven disciples who were glowing with luck.

"Master... Is he also an experiment?" One of the disciples asked.

"He is not. Fu Yun. Did you choose a person?" The elderly man said.

After contemplating for a while, Fu Yun cupped his fists towards his master and directly asked, "I wonder who will Master recommend for me to devour to seize his cultivation level as well as luck to break through to the Heaven Immortal Realm!"

"The person I recommend is this one..."

The chess piece in his fingertips suddenly turned grey from half-white and half-black.
