Chapter 45. Inner City
Tyler White, who is riding the carriage looked at the wild camels that looks more massive than a normal camel. The Golden Crystal Sand Desert shines brightly and the heat rays gets reflected by the crystal sands. Most of the beasts in the desert avoided the carriage. Due to the carriage colour it almost looked like it blended into the desert. At Least no -one from the distance can spot the carriage easily.
Tyler enjoyed the view. He doesn’t care about the heat because of the pre-installed cooling formation on the carriage driver seat. He admired the view which he couldn’t do before because of the continuous fight against senior sister Lan Xuero inside the carriage for the past few days.
"Succubi are real. I only read them in novels. I was expecting to fight those twin succubus. But I didn’t expect they would run away when you showed up. I wanted to know what my power levels are." Tyler muttered.
"They tried to enslave you. But when the plan failed they decided to occupy your body. They are definitely attracted to your wealth. They must have learned about you from Lan Couples memories. They don’t dare to re-occupy the Lan Couples because of Mana." Mana, who hates the Yang Qi in the desert during the day time, doesn’t want to come out. So she stayed inside Tyler’s body and said.
Suddenly the ground shook, a huge snake appeared from the ground and tried to gobble up the carriage. But it couldn’t get past the carriage’s formation. The snake is only at the Ninth stage of Qi Refining Realm.
"Desert Snake monster." Tyler’s eyes shined. His hand turned red. It is finally time to test his strength. But suddenly two figures flew past Tyler, with sabres and swords in their hands respectively. It’s the Lan Couples.
Tyler’s eyes twitched. He looked at the sky in a bored expression. He wanted to fight but he is pretty sure these both will finish the snake in no time. Just as Tyler expected they killed the snake with few strikes. They spun around and sat beside Tyler instead of going back into the carriage.
The weird feelings Lan Couples had as totally gone by now. They were able to converse normally with Tyler White.
Soon Tyler and the Lan Couples saw something that was impossible to exist in the desert. A city which has lots of plants, lakes and even humidity in the middle of the desert.
They could see a small rocky mountain where many murals were drawn. Near that mountain is a lake and surrounding the lakes are grasses.
"Grass in the centre of a desert." Tyler couldn’t help but blurt out. They saw a huge city past the lake without any city walls made of many rocky buildings. Each building has plants, vines and even trees on it.
