Chapter 13 - 12. Jade Valley
Jade Valley is renowned as a bustling hub. Situated near the Dragon Jade mountains this city thrives as a nexus for cultivators of qi refining realm and foundation establishment realm.
As dawn breaks, the city awakens to the melodious chimes of temple bells and the rhythmic chants of monks in the nearby monasteries. The streets come alive with a vibrant tapestry of colours as merchants set up their stalls, displaying a dazzling array of rare herbs, enchanted artefacts, and exotic treasures from distant lands.
The heart of Jade Valley beats within its bustling trading centre, where merchants from every corner of the realm converge to strike deals and exchange goods. Here, the air is thick with the aroma of incense and the sound of haggling fills the air as cultivators seek to acquire the tools and resources they need for their spiritual journeys.
Amidst the bustling markets, towering pagodas and elegant tea houses line the streets, their intricate architecture a testament to the city's rich history and reverence for tradition. Cherry blossom trees bloom in every corner, their delicate petals drifting on the breeze, while colourful lanterns sway overhead, casting a warm glow over the bustling streets below.
There is an old myth that there is a Jade Dragon lying in slumber beneath the mountains. An Old Cultivator decided to stay near the valley and tried to find clues. As years passed one by one Cultivators began to settle near the expert. And at one point it became a natural hub for trading.
Beyond the Jade Mountains are Endless Darkheart Thicket. Many adventure Cultivators use Jade Valley for lodging before passing the Jade Mountain to reach Endless Darkheart Thicket.
Today disciples of a bigger sect entered the city. They were wearing bluish white uniforms. The people passing by noticed the uniform and guessed their identity easily.
"Frozen Heart Sect." The people whispered.
It is Tyler, Chen Xi and some disciples from the same combat club. Tyler's eyes shone as he looked around the city. Because he just gave some money to his managers to make an auction hall branch in Jade Valley. This is the first time he is visiting the city.
The road is full of merchants with lots of stuff. Many of them are useless for Tyler. But still he took glances at them to find anything good. But his luck is average today, so he didn't find anything.
Unknowingly they reached the auction house. Auction house is not destroyed as the disciple said. It was forced to shut down and was sealed by a lock. The lock has a cloth tied to it. Tyler Simply grabbed the lock and applied a little pressure using Iron Hand Technique. The lock broke easily. Tyler grabbed the cloth, there is 'Soaring Cloud Sect' written on it.
