"Follow me!"
Lily ignored Liu Qian’s instructions to get snacks and drinks. She just shot Chenyang an indifferent glance and headed farther down the hall.
Chenyang was a little surprised, unable to understand why this nurse was so hostile toward him.
But, not wanting to stir up more trouble, he didn’t ask.
After he’d followed her for about twenty feet, Lily stopped and opened a door to the side. "In you go. There’s a faucet in the back. If you want water, get it yourself."
Chenyang glanced into the room, then at the sign hanging on the doorframe. "Aren’t you mistaken? Director Liu told you to take me to the break room, but this is a storage room."
"The Cardiology Department only has one break room, and it’s where the female doctors and nurses usually rest. It wouldn’t be appropriate for a grown man to go in there."
"Then I’ll just head back to Director Liu’s office."
"If you don’t want to make trouble for Director Liu, you’d better not."
Chenyang frowned. "Hey, do you have something against me?"
"No!" Lily said coldly.
"This is the first time we’ve met, and you say you don’t have anything against me, so why are all your comments so loaded?"
"As if you don’t already know why."
Chenyang looked baffled. "I honestly have no idea."
"Heh! Using ’saving lives’ as an excuse to molest a female patient and extort a male one! Someone like you doesn’t deserve to be a doctor!"
"I was framed."
"Wrongly accused?" Lily sneered. "Everyone the police drag away claims they’re innocent. In the end, how many of them actually are?"
"I..."
"Either go in or get out of the Cardiology Department."
Without giving Chenyang another chance to speak, Lily tossed a key at him and walked off toward the nurses’ station.
Being misunderstood again and again, Chenyang was starting to get pissed off.
He muttered angrily, "I go through all this shit to save people, and forget getting any thanks or praise, I just get fucking accused by everyone. No fucking good deed goes unpunished!"
CLANG!
Just as Chenyang was cursing, a sudden gust of wind blew out from the storage room and, as luck would have it, slammed the door shut, locking it.
BAM!
"Fuck! You’re against me too?!"
Chenyang kicked the door in frustration.
But once he calmed down, he picked up the key to let himself in.
Even though he’d been wrongly accused, public opinion was decidedly against him right now.
If anyone found out he was hiding in the Cardiology Department, they would surely find a way to come to Liu Qian’s office and make a scene.
Liu Qian was innocent, and Chenyang had no reason to drag her into his mess.
Even if the storage room was a bit of a mess, it was better than waiting in the hallway.

After composing himself, Chenyang inserted the key into the lock.
But a moment later, he was dumbfounded.
The key wouldn’t turn!
This wasn’t the key to the storage room at all!
"Fuck! I can’t catch a break!"
Cursing under his breath, Chenyang decided against going back to get the right key from Lily. He didn’t want to see her again. After a moment’s thought, he walked over to the unmarked door next to the storage room.
He figured that since the two rooms were right next to each other, Lily might have grabbed the wrong key by mistake. Deciding to give it a try, he inserted the key into the lock.
CLICK!
The door opened.
It was a two-room suite. The outer area was filled with small pieces of medical equipment.
The room inside was like a small bedroom.
It had a bed and a private bathroom.
However, judging by the dust and footprints on the floor, the room hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and rarely did anyone come inside.
This suited Chenyang just fine.
He needed a quiet place to think over being wrongly accused.
At the same time, he wanted to take a cold shower to cool off.
Liu Qian might have been inexperienced, but their recent passionate moment had stoked a fire in him.
Even now, just recalling how tight she felt made his whole body restless.
A moment ago, he’d had to press down hard with his hand; otherwise, the tent he was pitching would have poked right into Lily.
But he had to admit, while Lily had a bad attitude, her body was seriously hot.
The other nurses’ uniforms were a bit loose, hiding their figures.
But on the curvaceous Lily, the uniform hugged every single one of her curves.
Especially her perky rear, which jiggled with every step, a truly mouth-watering sight.
As Chenyang closed the door and walked into the bathroom to undress, he thought to himself, ’If I ever get the chance to get Lily in bed, I’ll absolutely ravage her!!’
