The Fragrance of My Hot Patients

Chapter 230

Angie replied politely, "Your condition isn’t as critical as the lady over here. Please wait a moment. As soon as we’ve given her some first aid, we’ll get you out."

"How can you not understand? She’s about to die! Trying to save her is just a waste of time."

As he spoke, the man struggled to pull a wad of cash from his pocket. "You’re just out here to make money, right? Here, I’ll pay you. Just save me first."

"This isn’t about money!"

"Then what is it? Your careers? Tell me where you work. I’ll go find your boss later. Just save me, and I’ll make sure you get promoted."

"Sir, please just wait a little longer. We will get to you."

"I can’t fucking wait anymore!" the man roared in a frenzy. "The van behind me is CREAKING and GROANING. It could collapse and crush me at any second! I don’t want to fucking die!

I’m ordering you to save me, right now! Just get me out of here, and I’ll give you anything you want."

"You..."

Seeing Angie about to try and calm him down again, Chenyang gave her a tug. "Ignore this jerk. Get the phone from my pocket and start a video call with Sister Liu. Then help me sterilize these silver needles. I need to stop this woman’s bleeding immediately. If we delay any longer, she’ll bleed to death even if the crash itself didn’t kill her."

Angie gave a slight nod and quickly did as he asked.

Seeing the two of them ignore him, the man’s fists clenched so tightly his knuckles cracked.

"Do you have any idea who I am? I’m a huge star! You’ll be in deep shit if you piss me off."

"A huge star?" Chenyang glanced over his shoulder. He continued disinfecting the woman’s wound and said sarcastically, "So any random person can be a star these days?"

Angie said in a low voice, "I think he actually is a star. I remember watching a TV show with my sister, and I’m pretty sure he was the second male lead. I think Nana’s a pretty big fan of his."

"Your sister’s a fan?" the man said with a smile. "Then hurry up and save me. Get me out of here first, and I’ll give your sister my autograph! As many as she wants."

Angie shook her head. "We have to prioritize based on the severity of the injuries. This has nothing to do with autographs."

"Don’t want an autograph? Then how about me?" the man said with a sleazy smile. "All my fans dream about dating me. You’re not bad-looking, so I bet your sister isn’t either. If you save me, I could date your sister. A relationship with me is something she could brag about for the rest of her life."

Chenyang snapped, "Brag my ass! You don’t even care if your own girlfriend lives or dies, and you think Sister Angie would let her sister date a scumbag like you?"

Angie froze for a moment. "That woman... is his girlfriend?"

"Yeah."

"Fuck!"

Initially, Angie had felt a bit of sympathy for the man, seeing as he was injured.

But now, that sympathy was instantly replaced by indignant rage, and she couldn’t even stop herself from swearing.

"You scumbag! Human trash!"

"Why you..."

CLANG!

Just as the man was about to curse her out, Angie suddenly slammed her hand on the van. "Say one more word, and see if I don’t push this van right on top of you."

Seeing that she wasn’t just bluffing, the man immediately deflated, though he still managed a stubborn threat. "You just wait."

"Finally, some peace and quiet." Chenyang had felt like a swarm of flies was buzzing around his head. With the man finally silent, he laughed in relief and didn’t forget to add a compliment. "You’re pretty intimidating when you get angry, Sister Angie."

"I learned it from the head nurse in the inpatient ward. Some patients are always looking for trouble, and they won’t listen to reason no matter what you say. The head nurse taught us that in special cases, if talking doesn’t work, you take action. Of course, that doesn’t mean hitting the patient, just scaring them a little."

’I’ll have to remember that one.’

Chenyang smiled. As he treated the woman, he used the video call to explain to Liu Yun how to perform first aid on the patient having a heart attack.

「More than ten minutes passed.」

Liu Yun’s patient had stabilized and regained consciousness. Just then, the ambulance arrived and rushed them to the hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, Chenyang had finished staunching the woman’s bleeding and bandaging her wounds.

Once that was done, Chenyang gestured to Angie. "Go stand outside. I’m going to slowly work this woman out of the wreckage. You can help receive her from the outside, and then the two of us will move her away from here..."
