'How should I even explain a method that helps them grow stronger quickly? Anyone with common sense would think it's completely wrong the moment they hear it. Whatever. If the results aren't great, I'll just think of another way.'
After pondering for a while, he shook off the thought.
"Will you two just take a moment to listen? I have to tell you about the world as it is right now. It's not the one you recall," Dusk remarked seriously.
Seeing the serious look on his face, Darius and Garrick immediately focused, sensing something important.
"The violent quake yesterday wasn't just a natural disaster. Long ago, Earth was sealed beneath a great barrier. Now, that seal is slowly unraveling. Demons will begin to appear. If you wish to spread your love to the world... you'll need the strength to eliminate them."
The two of them froze, as if what they had just heard was some twisted joke—or the plot of a movie.
However, they could tell from Dusk's solemn face that this was no funny affair. There was a brief period of silence before Darius lost the ability to contain himself.
"Why... why do you know this?"
"You both know I'm not exactly normal, right? This morning, I received a message in my mind—someone sent me a warning about what's to come," Dusk replied.
