Soul Emperor Awakening

Chapter 134 - 133: Roar of the Tiger

"I’m the one who’s come to take your lives!"

Lin Xuan’s voice was bone-chilling, and he was seething with boundless rage. He charged forward, White Pupil Rod in hand, his surging Killing Intent making him look like a God of Slaughter!

He executed the Cyan Cloud Step, a wisp of cyan cloud appearing beneath his feet as he instantly materialized in the middle of the group. Before they could even react, Lin Xuan was already standing in their midst.

"SWISH!" Lin Xuan thrust the White Pupil Rod forward, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes as he announced coldly, "Third form, Eight Extremes Staff Technique!"

With a sharp twist of his body, he spun like a tornado. A violent Qi Force, carrying the phantom bite of the White-eyed Tiger, swept out from his body, instantly manifesting as countless White Tigers that pounced on the surrounding men.

"BANG! BANG! BANG!"

Several men were sent flying, each one crashing violently into a different building. Others slammed into the ground and skidded for a great distance before coming to a stop.

Regardless of what they hit, their fate was the same—death!

Not a single one of them got back up; at most, they were left clinging to their last breath. If any survived, they would surely face the boundless wrath of the villagers later.

In the span of a few breaths, one group of Guards was sent flying. The remaining Guards froze, not daring to advance, but then their vision went black and they collapsed. A dark blur had flashed past them, too fast for their eyes to follow.

"Dad!" Seeing that all the Guards had been dealt with, Liu Xin ran over and threw herself onto her father, sobbing.

"My foolish girl, why did you come here? Don’t you know how dangerous it is?" Liu Quan’s eyes were bloodshot. It had been far too long since he had last seen his daughter.

"Our savior, he’s come to rescue us! He already killed Mo Long, and now he’s here to finish off the other two!" Liu Xin explained through her tears.

Liu Quan’s face went slack with shock. ’He killed Mo Long!’

The surrounding villagers were dumbfounded. They all turned to look at Lin Xuan. ’Can this young man, who’s about the same age as our own sons, really save us?’

White Pupil Rod in hand, Lin Xuan advanced on the house step by step. His Killing Intent grew ever denser, pouring into the small building.

"Who the hell is causing trouble out there?! Just you wait, I’m coming out to teach you a lesson! I’ll make you regret the day you were born for daring to interrupt my fun!" Just then, a man wielding a Giant Axe burst out of the house. His clothes were in disarray, a clear sign he had been indulging himself inside.

This man was the eldest of the Mo Brothers, Mo Wei. His Cultivation was at the Seventh Layer of Spirit Refining Stage, which was quite impressive, but in front of Lin Xuan, he was nothing but trash!

After rushing out, he saw his men lying on the ground, either dead or unconscious. His gaze immediately snapped to Lin Xuan as he roared, "Who the hell are you, kid?! How dare you break into our fortress!"

"Boss, what’s going on?!" Another man rushed out, his clothes also in disarray and an axe in his hand. This was the second of the Mo Brothers, Mo Qiang, whose Cultivation was at the Sixth Layer of Spirit Refining Stage.

Judging by their brawny muscles, axes were the perfect Weapons to showcase their strength, and they suited their savage appearances. However, their Cultivation didn’t quite match their intimidating looks. At the Spirit Refining Stage Sixth and Seventh Layers, they could play king of the mountain here, but out in the real world, they’d be courting death.

"So what if I did?" Lin Xuan eyed them coldly. ’Their foundations are hollow, their stances are unsteady, and their breathing is a mess.’

’Even though my Cultivation is only at the Fifth Layer of Spirit Refining Stage, I feel no pressure dealing with these two. This is a matter of self-confidence, but more than that, it’s about my desire to cut down these scumbags with my own two hands!’

"You broke in? Then you can die!" Mo Wei’s Seventh Layer Cultivation erupted. He gripped the Giant Axe tightly as his arms seemed to swell and his aura skyrocketed. A faint impression of greatly increased strength emanated from him.

Mo Wei had clearly held his position for so long for a reason; he obviously possessed considerable skill.

"Oh? A contest of strength?" Lin Xuan gave the White Pupil Rod a light swing. A vortex of air swirled around it, and the white patterns on its surface began to vibrate faintly. A low, indistinct tiger’s roar echoed from within.

The White-eyed Tiger sealed within the White Pupil Rod could no longer contain its rage; it longed to burst forth and tear everything to shreds.

"Daddy, should Yue’Er get down?" Liu Yue’Er wanted to climb out of Lin Xuan’s arms so she wouldn’t bother him. She was, it seemed, a rather sensible child.

"No need. Just hold on tight. For trash like them, one hand is more than enough!" In that instant, Lin Xuan seemed to merge with the world around him. His Realm soared as he drew upon the surrounding Power of Heaven and Earth, furiously channeling it into the White Pupil Rod.

Infused with the Power of Heaven and Earth, the White Pupil Rod hummed loudly, and the White-eyed Tiger sealed within grew even more frenzied.

"I don’t care who you are! You killed so many of my brothers—you’re a dead man!" Mo Wei sensed that Lin Xuan’s Cultivation wasn’t particularly high, only at the Fourth or Fifth Layer of the Spirit Refining Stage. In his eyes, that wasn’t strong at all.

"Furious Slash of the River and Mountains!"

Mo Wei hoisted his Giant Axe and charged, bringing it down hard on Lin Xuan. The terrifying force behind the swing seemed to cleave the very air in two.

"You dare challenge the heavens with mere mortal strength? Piss off!"

Holding Liu Yue’Er, Lin Xuan leaped into the air. He swung the White Pupil Rod, bringing it down hard on Mo Wei. As he swung, the sky seemed to darken, and a great wind howled, making the surrounding trees RATTLE violently.

The strike, filled with the Power of Heaven and Earth, exuded an irresistible pressure that bore down on everyone present.

"Heaven-Striking Staff Technique—Shattering Heaven and Earth!"

Lin Xuan let out a low roar. The White Pupil Rod in his hand blazed with a blinding light. A phantom of the White-eyed Tiger, fused with the Power of Heaven and Earth, leaped from the staff and pounced heavily upon Mo Wei.

The colossal Illusion’s body caused the very sky to change color and the earth itself to tremble.

Mo Wei’s face turned pale mid-swing. The gleam from his descending Giant Axe was effortlessly swallowed by the white light. His technique could slash rivers and mountains, but now, he was facing Heaven and Earth itself!

How could mortal strength ever compare to the might of Heaven and Earth?

"This... this power..." Mo Wei had no time to cry out in alarm before the white light engulfed him.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

The house ahead was engulfed by the White-eyed Tiger’s Illusion. Mo Qiang, who stood behind his brother, was also swallowed by the terrifying white light, given no time to react.

It was the most powerful strike he could unleash with his current Cultivation. It was a blow that contained all his inner fury, a roar from the depths of his soul—delivering a force of forty tons!

After the explosion, both brothers were sent flying, smashing hard into the house behind them. With a tremendous crash, the front half of the building collapsed, burying them under the debris.

When the dust settled, the crowd saw a massive crater in front of Lin Xuan. Its shape looked as if it had been formed by the fierce impact of a tiger’s paws, leaving two deep imprints in the earth.

"ROAR!"

A tiger’s roar echoed as if from the heavens, thundering in all directions. The sound sent the nearby wildlife scattering in terror. It even made the villagers turn pale; the mere shockwave was enough to make them stumble.

They looked at Lin Xuan with gazes full of reverence, as if he were a Celestial God sent down to save them, to rid them of these wicked tyrants who knew no evil.

Lin Xuan’s expression was cold as the white light in his eyes faded. Only then did the inferno of rage in his heart finally begin to subside.
