Chapter 177: Chaos Platoon, Move Out!
Beneath the gloomy skies that threatened rainfall, twenty youngsters walked forth.
The Parralen Valley Outpost was as far as the army’s manatech vehicles were permitted to go.
So, Hal and his Prospect Platoon could only head to the battlefield on foot, scanning their surroundings as they did.
It seemed they were in a grove, though the trees seemed extremely old and had already existed for centuries.
There were a few bushes lying around, but aside from that and the oaks, the area was pretty clear.
It would be difficult for beasts or monsters to ambush them here, if they even existed in the area.
After a few more minutes, however, the biome they were walking through changed into a bush-dense area with reddish-brown soil.
One-hundred to three-hundred-foot-tall redwood trees also gradually replaced the oaks, mesmerizing the youngsters.
They had never been in such a, dare they say, relaxing place before.
Unfortunately, their sightseeing was cut short when they noticed the entrance of a valley in the distance, along with a fairly large camp of soldiers, though it was only half full.
They had arrived at the battlefield.
’A redwood forest valley, huh...’ Hal mused.
