"B-Bill! Hey, are you there? Open up, quickly! I have news about the Arcana Primis Cup!!" a brown-haired young man exclaimed as he repeatedly banged on his friend’s dormitory room door.
But it wasn’t until five minutes later that the short, bald Bill finally opened his door, rubbing his eyes with an infuriated expression.
"Harvey! Can you keep it down?! Let people sleep, you f*cker!"
"F*ck your sleep, bro! This is more important!" Harvey shot back. "It’s about who advanced to the top thirty-two!"
Hearing his friend’s words, the bald three-star student’s expression eased up.
While the bastard was probably exaggerating again, Bill was still somewhat interested in who the thirty-two strongest of their generation were.
"So, aside from the expected ones advancing, who performed above expectations?" the bald youngster asked.
"Well... those expected to perform did perform, and nothing too out of the ordinary happened, except for one person. You wouldn’t believe he was a seeded participant, ranked 64th!" Harvey said mysteriously, earning an impatient knock on the back of the head from his recently woken friend.
"Just say who it is, damn it!" Bill snapped.
It truly wasn’t wise to joke around with someone who had just returned from the dream world.
"Aihhh... why are you so violent, you bald shorty?! It’s Hal Fennec, the one-star wastrel!" the brown-haired young man groaned, rubbing the back of his head.
