Chapter 91: The Fell
An hour and a half had passed since Hal began following the expedition device’s signal, carefully making his way forward.
Soon, one of the blue dots finally began to slowly move closer, making Hal smile slightly.
It wouldn’t be long before they reunited.
A few minutes later, he arrived at an area of dense shrubbery, his smile widening as the device led him to one of the thickets where Liora and Loki were hiding.
But before he could approach, the thicket rustled, and a dog-sized wolf cub came rushing out with an urgent look on its face, placing a pebble down in front of him.
Loki then began pulling him in a certain direction.
Hal was initially confused, but then things clicked in his mind, and his heart sank.
"Liora!"
The next moment, the pup began sprinting in a direction, with Hal quickly following behind.
Their speed inevitably slowed as Loki began sniffing the ground, following Liora’s scent to track her.
They also had to avoid combat as much as possible, so there were times they had to stop and hide.
