Chapter 100 - 93: Better Coiled Up, or Not?
"Is there another way to establish a connection?"
Lu Changyuan was pulled into the room by Su Youwan, and the scent of sandalwood incense immediately wrapped around him like a spider’s web.
"There isn’t," the Silver-haired Maiden said softly. She then untied the sash at her waist, her outer robe slipping to the floor like a shed butterfly’s wing, once again revealing the pale celadon undergarment.
The undergarment was as thin as a cicada’s wing, faintly outlining the contours of her shoulder blades in the lamplight, like porcelain gleaming with a cold light under the moon.
She placed the blindfold by the birdcage, then tilted her head to look at Lu Changyuan.
Skin as pristine as the moon appeared before Lu Changyuan’s eyes.
The maiden began to put up her hair, revealing the slender nape of her neck, but then she stopped. Stepping closer, barefoot on the floor, her movements were as light as a Bodhisattva traversing the world, her ankles flashing in and out of sight beneath the hem of her clothes.
"Is it better with my hair up or down?"
’What difference does it make if it’s up or not?’
Lu Changyuan thought for a moment, then realized he didn’t need to think about it at all.
"Third Prince, this..."
Su Youwan stood on her tiptoes, her nose almost touching Lu Changyuan’s. A few strands of her silver-white hair fell, brushing against Lu Changyuan’s hand. "Hold me. Let my scent seep into you."
The faint scent of sandalwood incense entered his nostrils. A cold body was suddenly in Lu Changyuan’s arms. The chill of that body made him shudder slightly; through the thin fabric, it was like holding a jade sculpture that had come to life.
"Actually, it works best with no clothes on," the maiden’s voice came from his shoulder, as calm as if she were reciting pharmacology. "Direct skin-to-skin contact would greatly increase the efficiency."
Lu Changyuan felt an inexplicable stirring within him.
"Just like that day, when Young Master Lu was with the scroll of Ancestor Red Simurgh, Youwan saw that you carried Miss Xia’s fate on you. Hmm, it’s very complex, so Youwan knew..."
The Silver-haired Maiden shifted slightly, pressing deeper into Lu Changyuan’s embrace, then whispered in his ear, "Young Master Lu, you took Miss Xia’s body, didn’t you?"
Lu Changyuan felt as if his body heat was being drained away by Su Youwan.
His spirit, too.
It was a very strange feeling. A celestial Bodhisattva was in his arms, wearing only a moon-white undergarment, her expression blank, yet she was utterly pliant.
Lu Changyuan lowered his head and saw that the maiden’s moon-white undergarment was slightly open, revealing the delicate curve of her collarbone.
He didn’t have time to look for long; instead, he was thinking.
’Where’s my Broken Thought?’
At some point, the Silver-haired Maiden had untied Lu Changyuan’s Broken Thought and placed it at the bedside.
Lu Changyuan reached for his Broken Thought, but his hand touched a cool, delicate, and bonelessly soft hand instead.
In that moment, Su Youwan’s red pupils held an intense, predatory quality, as if scrutinizing Lu Changyuan. The maiden forcefully pressed his hand down with her own, then turned to face him, eye to eye.
Meeting another’s gaze is a kiss without lust.
Almost no one can hide the emotions in their eyes.
Su Youwan was still testing whether Lu Changyuan’s desire was born of lust.
She stood on her tiptoes, legs tensed, and gently pressed her face against Lu Changyuan’s. Soon, the maiden’s thin, cool lips were on his cheek.
Lu Changyuan’s pupils contracted sharply.
He finally realized where the damp feeling on his cheek from all those previous times had come from.
"Third Prince?"
"Mm."
The maiden’s jade-white arms were fully exposed, wrapped around Lu Changyuan’s neck. Her elegant nose was pert as she met his gaze once more.
Lu Changyuan repeated, "Third Prince?"
"Mm."
Though her actions were intensely provocative, Lu Changyuan could see no trace of a maiden’s shyness on Su Youwan’s face. It was as if this was all perfectly natural and expected.
After all, under the guise of "establishing a connection," they could engage in some shameless acts. The coolly detached Female Bodhisattva ultimately allowed him to hold her by the waist.
But it was precisely this that added a sense of forbidden desire—the feeling of an abstinent person, unaware of depravity, sinking into it and ultimately being thoroughly corrupted.
The maiden’s hair brushed against Lu Changyuan’s clothes. In the lightless Netherworld, it seemed to be dyed by the darkness, just like this Supreme Female Bodhisattva herself.

"Junior Sister, am I practicing the sword correctly?"
"You are."
Xia Lianxue’s tone was certain, but she frowned as a strange feeling washed over her. ’Did something happen to the Young Master?’ she wondered.
Qiu Yuehan gritted her teeth. ’Isn’t this a bit too ridiculous? My Junior Sister finally took the trouble to teach me swordplay... but still, this is too much! Suspending a sword in mid-air, using its tip to gently guide the flow of cloud qi, cutting out a perfectly shaped piece of cloud-brocade with clear patterns, and having it hold its form for the time it takes an incense stick to burn without dissipating... It’s just ridiculous!’
Qiu Yuehan gritted her teeth, thrust her sword toward the sky, and sliced off a piece of cloud. But in the next instant, the cloud was shattered by the sharp sword.
’What the hell.’
’Why is this so hard?’
’Can anyone actually do this at the Fifth Realm?’
Qiu Yuehan was about to go find her junior sister, but she saw that her sister had already ambled over to a pavilion. Someone was already waiting inside the quaint, rustic structure.
Her red lips parted, but she could only swallow the words she was about to say.
Xia Lianxue walked into the pavilion, and Jiang Jiayi, as always, pushed a cup of tea toward her.
"Are you sure it’s okay to trick her like this? That cloud was obviously held on your sword using the Time Dao."
The Red-clothed Sword Immortal said faintly.
Xia Lianxue broke into a smile. "If you don’t say anything, and I don’t say anything, no one will ever know."
Jiang Jiayi really had no intention of telling Qiu Yuehan. "But what if she actually masters it?"
"Wouldn’t it be even better if she did?"
The Gentle Fairy smiled softly.
’If her senior sister really did master it, the world would have one more terrifyingly powerful Sword Immortal. That wouldn’t be so bad, come to think of it. In any case, with the Demon Pattern branded on Senior Sister, the Young Master will have another sword in his hand in the future. Since you don’t want to get rid of the Demon Pattern, Senior Sister, then you can just forget about ever getting rid of it! Feng Xianlong’s daughter, the very person I used to envy before I recovered my memories, is now serving me tea and water, and even has to thank me for it.’
A faint smile touched Xia Lianxue’s lips at the thought.
Jiang Jiayi waved her hand, opening the box she was holding. Inside were some chestnut cakes. "Some mortals from the foot of the mountain made these. They should be quite good."
Xia Lianxue picked one up and popped it into her mouth, her eyes narrowing slightly in pleasure.
After a moment, the Little Fairy suddenly asked, "The Young Master likes to eat plain noodle soup. Do you have any idea why?"
Jiang Jiayi shook her head. "You’d have to ask him yourself. The Sect Leader and I aren’t actually that familiar with the Chang’an Sect Master’s past."
The Red-clothed Sword Immortal glanced toward the mountain peak; she was, of course, referring to the Daoist Sect Master.
Xia Lianxue and Qiu Yuehan had been here for a long time, but the Daoist Sect Master had not come to see them even once.
"Tell me about the Chang’an Daoist."
When the Little Fairy in a White Skirt achieved the Dao of Yao Guang, the Chang’an Daoist had already ascended. The world was in chaos, and her impression of the Chang’an Daoist was limited to: he was strong. Absurdly strong.
That was it.
But now that he was her husband, she felt she should understand him a little better.
For instance, what the Chang’an Daoist liked to eat, what quirks he had, what he did at certain hours of the day—Xia Lianxue wanted to know it all.
But Jiang Jiayi just shook her head.
"The Chang’an Sect Master is Supreme."
"What do you mean?"
Jiang Jiayi sighed. "You and the Chang’an Sect Master are from the same era. The Cultivation Realm must have been very chaotic back then. Turbulent times are the most likely to produce a Supreme Being."
Xia Lianxue still didn’t grasp Jiang Jiayi’s meaning.
"So, as the Sect Leader cultivated, all he saw was a world of dog-eat-dog. I don’t know what the Sect Leader went through, but I do know that in his final days, he was trying... to draw his sword against the heavens."
"But what does that have to do with being Supreme?"
Jiang Jiayi said softly, "The Celestial Dao is emotionless, impartial and just. The Supreme is also emotionless, viewing the Mortal World with detachment. To be Supreme is a trait exclusive to the Celestial Dao."
Xia Lianxue was stunned into a daze. The wind lifted strands of her hair, bringing with it a chilling sensation.
