Chapter 2: Coming Back in Time
Inside a small room, there was a handsome young man with white hair, about 178 cm tall, who could be seen sleeping on a small, worn-out bed.
The young man suddenly opened his eyes and sat up straight, gasping haggardly as if he had just had a nightmare.
His golden eyes immediately swept around the surroundings as his hand unconsciously reached out to his waist, trying to reach out for his sword.
'This... Isn't this my old room?' Kai thought to himself as he felt a little bit nostalgic when he looked around his room.
However, he suddenly remembered something and threw off his blanket, getting up and running towards the door.
When Kai opened the door, tears streamed down his cheeks as he saw his little sister sitting on the sofa, watching TV and eating a snack.
"Huh? Big Brother Kai, why are you crying?" A cute little girl asked with a puzzled and worried expression. The little girl was about five years old, dressed in simple white clothes with a twin-tail hairstyle and a chubby face.
"Nana!" Kai immediately ran and hugged his little sister tightly, suffocating her so much that she bit him because she couldn't breathe.
"Hmmph! Why are you crying and suddenly hugging Nana so tightly?!" Nana pouted, puffing out her cheek as she tilted her head a little bit while looking at her big brother unhappily.
'Is this real?' Kai thought to himself, feeling disbelief about the fact that he had just returned in time.
He then reached out his hand and pinched her little sister's chubby cheek to see if she felt it, as he didn't want to pinch himself like an idiot.
