"Let go!"

The girl glared at Lin Feng and let out a low growl. Her body was completely sore and numb, every bone feeling as if it had come apart. She couldn't muster any strength to fight back against him at all!

Lin Feng ignored her, instead crouching down and hoisting her onto his back.

"What are you doing? Let me go!"

The girl on Lin Feng's back cried out in alarm, her pretty face filled with panic.

Lin Feng paid her cries no mind and simply strode forward. Soon, he had carried her to an old pine tree just outside the Lin Mansion.

Lin Feng set her down. He shoved a pill into her mouth, then looked at her indifferently and said, "Weren't you trying to kill me? You can make your move now."

The girl stared at Lin Feng, her eyes wide. 'What is this guy doing?'

"You... What did you make me eat?"

The girl asked, feeling the pill instantly dissolve in her mouth, a trace of confusion in her bright eyes.

"Shut up. You're so noisy."
