Chapter 35: Kidnapped
PTHOO!
A mouthful of blood sprayed from one of the men's lips as he collapsed, unconscious. The kick had likely broken at least six or seven of his ribs.
"This is bad!"
The last female bodyguard inside the car froze. She had never seen anyone so powerful—he had taken out three or four of her colleagues with a single kick. She immediately grabbed Su Yanxue and tried to pull her back.
"Trying to run?"
Elder Li snorted. He stomped hard on the ground, using the force to launch himself into the air, and grabbed both the fleeing bodyguard and Su Yanxue.
"Loyal, but far too weak."
A cruel smile spread across Elder Li's face. He applied the slightest pressure with his hand, and with a sickening CRUNCH, the bodyguard's slender neck twisted to an unnatural angle.
"He... he killed someone!"
Even a capable woman like Su Yanxue screamed in terror. She struggled with all her might, but it was completely futile.
"So, you're Su Yanxue? Don't blame me for my cruelty. If you have to blame someone, blame your man for daring to lay a hand on my apprentice!"
"Who... who are you! My husband would never do something like that!"
When she heard Elder Li mention Lin Feng, deep worry flooded Su Yanxue's face. She shot back, "And besides, he wouldn't have touched your apprentice if that apprentice of yours hadn't started it!"
Su Yanxue had no idea who these people were or how they were connected, but she refused to let anyone insult Lin Feng.
Hearing this, a vicious grin spread across Elder Li's lips. "Heh heh... Why don't you wait for your man to get here and ask him about it yourself!"
"Tie her up and take her away!"
At Elder Li's command, the two remaining men quickly moved forward, bound Su Yanxue's hands, and shoved her into the car.
...
Lin Feng stared at the message in his hand, the playful, devil-may-care smile he usually wore now completely gone, replaced by a dark scowl.
"Sir, we're almost there. Five minutes, tops."
The driver glanced at Lin Feng, his tone heavy.
"Mm."
Lin Feng nodded, saying nothing more as a bone-chilling killing intent glinted in his eyes.
Although Su Yanxue's life wasn't in immediate danger, the situation had sent him into an absolute rage!
'The Wang Family... It seems I've been out of the picture for so long that a few pathetic clowns have forgotten I even exist.'
Lin Feng murmured, his voice laced with an icy chill.
Meanwhile, in a dilapidated warehouse about five kilometers away, Elder Li and Wang Kai were sitting on chairs.
"Are you sure that guy, Lin, will come back?"
Elder Li asked, his expression impassive as he stared out the window.
"Don't worry, that little bastard will definitely be back. She's the most important thing in the world to him."
Wang Kai sneered, a venomous light gleaming in the depths of his eyes.
"Heh."
At his words, Elder Li let out a cold laugh, a glint of excitement flashing in his eyes.
'You dared to touch my apprentice... Kid, you're dead.'
He licked his crimson lips, radiating the bloodthirsty aura of a hungry wolf.
...
「Meanwhile, on a road in the outer suburbs.」
Looking at the second address that had just been sent to his phone, Lin Feng's expression became utterly impassive.
But it was the calm before the storm.
The messages were coming from Su Yanxue's phone, and he knew she had just been attacked.
The fact that they were still sending messages proved they had captured Su Yanxue. She was in their hands now.
"Stop here. You can just wait for me."
Gazing out at the deserted suburban landscape, Lin Feng suddenly turned to the driver, his voice eerily calm.
"Sir... what are you going to do?"
"Kill someone."
Lin Feng left him with those two words, pushed the door open, and got out of the car.
He then strode directly toward the conspicuous, dilapidated warehouse in the distance.
The autumn wind made the leaves RUSTLE, but Lin Feng seemed oblivious, as if all sound around him had vanished.
Soon, Lin Feng was near the warehouse. Suddenly, his pupils contracted. A bone-piercing chill shot up from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head, making every hair on his body stand on end.
WHIZZ!
The instant Lin Feng took another step, several gunshots rang out. His eyebrows shot up as he quickly threw himself to the side to dodge.
RIP!
A bullet grazed his arm, narrowly missing his body. Even so, he knew it had enough power to tear straight through him.
'You're courting death!'
Lin Feng's face turned livid. He burst forward, reaching the warehouse in the blink of an eye.
WHIZZ!
Three more bullets flew at him, and again Lin Feng dodged. But just then, a dark figure flashed past him.
WHOOSH!
In that same instant, Lin Feng shot out his right arm, clamping down on the masked, black-clad man's throat. He followed up with a sweeping kick that slammed directly into the man's chest.
THUD! CRASH!
With a sickening thud and a loud crash, the masked man in black was sent flying by Lin Feng's kick and slammed into the warehouse door.
The entire exchange was over in seconds, stunning everyone inside the warehouse.
"How is that possible?!"
Wang Kai, watching from the shadows, was shocked. He knew Lin Feng was one of the so-called Ancient Martial Artists, but he never imagined he could actually dodge bullets.
These were firearms, not martial arts techniques. No matter how skilled Lin Feng was, he shouldn't be able to dodge bullets—not unless he had transcended human limits.
CRACK.
Lin Feng, however, paid no mind to their shock. He simply snapped the man's neck and dragged the body aside.
This was the first person he had killed since his recovery.
In the past, no matter how much someone provoked him, he would've turned a blind eye. Arguing with ordinary people was beneath him. But not this time.
Lin Feng stood his ground, his gaze like ice.
Because this time, these people were his target.
"Fuck, what kind of monster is this guy?!"
The other hidden gunman broke out in a cold sweat. He stared at his fallen companion on the ground, his own eyes filling with terror.
They were just mercs, paid to do a job. They had no idea who this ruthless killer was, what he looked like, or even how old he was.
But he didn't have time to think about it. The guy was too strong. All he could do was follow his boss's orders.
Lin Feng slowly raised his head and looked toward the interior of the warehouse.
WHOOSH!
Without a moment's hesitation, Lin Feng took a step and charged straight at the large iron door.
BANG.
He sent the iron door flying with effortless ease and strode inside.
And then, he heard the sound of gleeful laughter from within.
"Haha, the guns went off outside. That kid must be dead by now, right? I'm telling you, Young Master Wang is being way too cautious. What could possibly go wrong when you're using guns?"
