"You just wait, Daddy will go get him and bring him back for you!"

The woman's tears turned to a smile. "Thank you, Daddy. I love you the most."
The street before him was deserted.
He couldn't even see many cars.
Xiao Ye parked again, found a nearby farmhouse-style restaurant, and took care of lunch.
Just as he was eating, a group of people walked in.

He was planning to go get his car back.

The man sneered. "Quite the actor, aren't you? Let's see how long you can keep it up!"

The car drove for about two hours before arriving at a place that resembled a mountain villa.
But this one was more dilapidated, looking like a fortified stockade.
The woman in red had long grown impatient. When she finally saw them return, she was ecstatic. "Did you bring back my future husband?"
The man beside her watched her with doting eyes. "Your uncle sent word back just now. They've brought him back. You're a woman; try not to act so unrestrained."
"They'll be here in another five minutes."
