The Master Descends the Mountain: My Destined CEO

Chapter 398: Boxing Champion

Yi got into another car and left ahead of them.

Xiao Ye and Zhu Chen, on the other hand, rode in a luxury limousine to the base of a skyscraper.

This was the headquarters of the United Group. Ostensibly, Xiao Ye was here on business, but in reality, he had arrived at a branch of the Angel Association.

The United Group was incredibly wealthy, and its headquarters was suitably luxurious.

The moment they walked in, the mirrored walls nearly blinded them.

Zhu Chen was speechless. "Is this the high-tech feel of the premier N City? For a second there, I thought I'd gone blind!"

Just as Xiao Ye was about to speak, a group of people walked toward them.

They all wore employee badges. As staff of the United Group, they were clearly the elite of the elite, and every one of them wore an arrogant expression.

Seeing Xiao Ye and Zhu Chen, some of them sneered in disdain.

"More annoying Easterners. They don't actually think coming to Country A to build a career will let them reach the pinnacle of their lives, do they?"

Many Easterners had come to the United Group before, all looking for an opportunity.

But how could a company from Country A possibly let foreigners into upper management? They were just daydreaming!

"The people from Dragon Country brag about their kung fu, claiming they're going to spread all over the world!"

"I hear there are people from Dragon Country in every country now. It's so annoying! I can't stand the sight of them."

The rivalry between Dragon Country and Country A was fierce. These corporate employees knew more than the average person, and their animosity toward Dragon Country was all the greater for it.

Xiao Ye paid their words no mind.

'It's just a difference in perspective.'

He thought they would just walk past, but someone deliberately bumped into them.

Xiao Ye dodged in time, but Zhu Chen, failing to notice, was knocked back two steps.

"What do you think you're doing?" Zhu Chen shot a glance at Xiao Ye.

'So he's just acting.'

Since that was the case, Xiao Ye didn't expose him.

"It was an accident. What are you going to do about it? You want me to apologize?" an employee said, looking Zhu Chen up and down with contempt.

"As if you're worthy of my apology!"

Zhu Chen knew a bit of martial arts himself. He instantly grabbed the man's collar. "Say that again!"

"We don't know each other, but you've been insulting us from the start. The fact that I haven't said anything is me already showing you respect."

"But then you go and shove me. Do you really think people from Dragon Country are pushovers?"

The employee glanced at Zhu Chen's refined, gentlemanly appearance and coldly swatted his hand away. "A weakling like you dares to act tough here?"

In truth, Zhu Chen's build was standard for someone from Dragon Country, but he was certainly smaller in stature compared to the tall, brawny Westerners.

Xiao Ye stepped forward. "And what about me?"

"It's useless even with you!" The employee looked at his colleagues. "Any one of us could teach you a lesson!"

The words had barely left his mouth when Xiao Ye's fist flew out.

THWACK!

The man hit the ground hard.

Blood streamed from his nose.

"How dare you hit someone! This is the United Group!"

"I don't care what group this is. You deserved it!" Xiao Ye planted a foot on the man. "Do you have any idea who we are?"

"As employees of the United Group, you insulted us without even knowing our identities."

"If I were a business partner, you would have just seriously damaged the United Group's interests!"

"Our United Group is one of the top corporations in the world! Anyone who wants to do business with us has to listen to what *we* say!"

No wonder these employees were so arrogant; they didn't care in the slightest who Xiao Ye and his companion were.

"Let him go, now!"

The other employees surrounded Xiao Ye.

Zhu Chen rolled up his sleeves. "Mr. Xiao, why don't you let me handle the rest?"

"Fine. This is a good chance for me to see what you're capable of."

He really did want to see how skilled Zhu Chen was in a fight.

Without another word, Zhu Chen sprang into action.

He used Tai Chi, a very common martial art in Dragon Country.

It looked gentle, but its power in a fight was not to be underestimated.

In the blink of an eye, he had taken down several of them.

Seeing this, the rest of them backed away in fear.

"He actually knows Dragon Country kung fu! I thought he was a pushover, but I was wrong!"

"What now? Are we just going to let it go?"

"I have something to do, so I'm leaving."

Some of them were already starting to leave.

The employee pinned under Xiao Ye's foot saw this, his eyes wide with fury. He had never been so humiliated!

And his friends were getting beaten up!

This was intolerable!

"Kid, let me go right now! I'm telling you, you're in deep trouble. Do you have any idea who my big brother is?"

Xiao Ye wasn't interested. It would be a senior executive at the United Group, or some other person with power and influence.

He wasn't afraid of any of them. Because in Country A, the greatest power wasn't the United Group, nor the Royal Family—it was the Angel Association.

As long as he was someone the Angel Association wanted, he wouldn't get into any real trouble—not unless he did something to bring the heavens crashing down.

When Xiao Ye didn't answer, the employee thought he was scared. "I'm telling you, my brother is the boxing champion of Country A! You just wait, I'm calling him right now!"

'A boxing champion?'

'Now that sounds interesting.'

Xiao Ye's interest was piqued. He lifted his foot. "Alright. Go ahead and make your call."

As for the security guards and other United Group personnel, they showed no intention of stepping in to resolve the situation.

The entire lobby was divided into two sections.

One was the area past the security checkpoint, which required an employee ID. That was the only part under the United Group's jurisdiction.

As for the area outside of that—where Xiao Ye was standing—they couldn't care less.

The employee whipped out his phone and dialed a number. "Bro, I'm getting bullied over here! You gotta get here quick, it's two guys from Dragon Country!"

"I need you to teach them a lesson! Show them that their Dragon Country kung fu is for weaklings and means nothing!"

He hung up, struggled to his feet, and glared at Xiao Ye. "Don't you dare leave!"

Xiao Ye and Zhu Chen had no intention of leaving.

It was almost lunchtime, so many employees were starting to head out.

Seeing the crowd that had gathered, they all came over to watch the show.

"What's going on? What happened?"

"A couple of guys from Dragon Country pissed them off. I heard a boxing champion is on his way to go a few rounds with their kung fu!"

"For real? In that case, I'm skipping lunch. I want to see for myself just how strong this Dragon Country kung fu really is!"

Half an hour passed in the blink of an eye.

A burly man walked in.

He stood nearly six-foot-three and weighed at least two hundred and fifty pounds, looking incredibly strong.

Despite the cold weather, he was only wearing a short-sleeved shirt, and his exposed muscles were terrifying.

The employee's face lit up when he saw him. He pointed at Xiao Ye and Zhu Chen. "Bro! These are the two idiots from Dragon Country who bullied me!"
