With that, Linton began shrugging out of his shirt as he closed in on the bed.
"Such a pretty face. You'd better last a few more days. It won't be easy finding a knockout like you again!"
The color drained from Lin Chuyue's face, inch by inch. She knew she was doomed.
She tightened her grip on the object in her palm, and just as Linton lunged at her, she stabbed out fiercely!
Linton's body froze in place.

Lin Chuyue stared blankly at her own hand. She was clutching a knife she had fashioned from paper. It hadn't touched Linton at all. 'How did he fall?'
