Chapter 329: Sweet Talk Comes Easily
This minor incident triggered internal turmoil within the Ouyang Family.
Or perhaps, it was merely the fuse that lit the powder keg.
More and more people became involved, until eventually, even Ouyang Xin was dragged into it.
Ouyang Xin walked out of the bar, yawned, and planned to head straight to a nearby hotel to rest.

Fortunately, the bodyguard behind him reacted in time and took the blow for him!
Seeing the blood gushing from his bodyguard's arm, Ouyang Xin sobered up instantly. "What... What's going on?"

Because of what happened with the godfather last time, she hadn't dared to contact Ouyang Xin.
And while Ouyang Xin had reached out to her occasionally, she had been too afraid to respond.

So, upon hearing it was Ouyang Xin, Lin Chuxing couldn't hide her excitement.
It was as if all her suppressed feelings had erupted at once!
"Chuxing, can we meet? Right now. I miss you too much!"
Sweet nothings rolled off Ouyang Xin's tongue with ease.
"Lin Chuxing, I thought you didn't like me anymore, so I've been trying so hard to restrain myself from contacting you."
"But today... I just can't hold back any longer! If you don't come see me, then... then I might as well be dead!"
"Brother Xin, don't say that!" Lin Chuxing cried out. "You can't die! Where are you? I'll come see you right now!"
"I'm on the side of the road, about twenty kilometers from your Xiao Family estate."
After hanging up, Lin Chuxing carefully got dressed and snuck out of the house.
Once she was sure no one had seen her, she drove out from the Xiao Family estate and, sure enough, found a car parked by the roadside.
She had just stepped out of her car when a dark figure pulled her behind a nearby tree trunk.
"Chuxing, I've missed you so, so much!"
Lin Chuxing threw her arms around Ouyang Xin, and the two embraced passionately for a while before finally letting go.
"Brother Xin, what are you doing here all of a sudden?"
"I just missed you too much. And... there's something else. I think I might... be about to die! I was targeted by an assassin tonight."
"And before I die, the first person I thought of was you. That's why I wanted to see you so badly!"
Hearing this, Lin Chuxing immediately grew frantic.

Zhu Chen was startled by Xiao Ye's sudden visit. For a long time now, it had always been Xiao Ye contacting him to arrange a meeting. This was the first time Xiao Ye had ever come to him.
'He must be after something big!'
"Patriarch Xiao, what wind blows you here today?"
