Inside the luxurious living room.
Patriarch Meng glared at the woman. "Mr. Xiao, it's definitely her! I'm not mistaken. She's the one who deceived my son and stole the Golden Saber!"
The woman's pupils constricted, but she maintained a composed expression, feigning a look of confusion and fear.
"What are you talking about? I don't know you, and I don't know your son. I've never even heard of a Golden Saber. I don't understand a word you're saying!"
"Still trying to weasel your way out of this!" Patriarch Meng was so furious he almost lashed out, but he caught Xiao Ye's gaze and quickly stopped himself.

"I know." Xiao Ye finished his cup of tea and stood up. "Open your basement. I need to use it."
Patriarch Meng glanced at the woman, his face dawning with comprehension before he broke into a grin. "Of course. I'll arrange it right away. After you, Mr. Xiao."
The basement was exceedingly dim and filled with the scent of incense.
The woman cowered in a corner, staring at Xiao Ye in terror. "What are you going to do?!"
"You're nothing like Li Zhu. At least she had the courage to fight me."
The woman shook her head frantically. "I don't know who you're talking about."
Xiao Ye said coolly, "Red Night. Impostor."
At these words, the woman knew she was well and truly exposed. There was no longer any point in playing dumb.
"Since you know I'm one of Red Night's people, you should let me go at once! Otherwise, Her Majesty the Queen will never let you get away with it!"

The woman collapsed to the floor, gasping for breath.
